- EaterJanuary 21, 2013This casual Ethiopian restaurant is the best of its kind in the city, and it's open until at least midnight every day to boot. Get the vegetarian platter and/or lamb tibs. [Eater 38 Member]
- Flavor Notice CateringNovember 17, 2013I love my kitfo raw... however... desta serves kitfo pasta that is really good IF the meat is cooked well done. (I've tried it both raw & cooked) also their fish pasta is also amazing & its a lot.
- AbApril 17, 2018Friendlier service than you might get in DC. Ask the right questions and you’ll get the tibs & kitfo served properly. Otherwise, you’ll get good food in plates with forks. Alas
- Ask yourself, "Do I LOVE rare steak and sushi?" Then consider the rare kitfo. It's not for everyone, but it's FANTASTIC (and much better than what you get elsewhere locally).
- Creative Loafing AtlantaMay 1, 2015Try the breakfast combo. There are scrambled eggs you can scoop up with injera bread; some chechebsa (flatbread seasoned with hot berbere spices); and kinche, cracked grains with olive oil. Read more
