Guests line up for the popular xiao long bao (juicy, steamy, one-bite soup dumplings), but the menu includes a variety of dishes, from pan-fried pork cutlets to the most full-bodied chicken soup.

Din Tai Fung is known for its high-quality xiao long bao, but also try the shrimp and pork shao mai. Also, bar seating can help you avoid the long waits in the main dining area.

Can’t go wrong with any of the dumplings but my fave are the soup dumplings and the spicy wontons - which has a nice light spicy sauce that’s not overly greasy like some I’ve had in the past.

Juicy Pork or Juicy Crab & Pork Dumplings. Let it explode in your mouth or poke a hole in it to let it drip in your spoon! Then dip!

Juicy pork dumpling is absolutely the best, the spicy beef noodle soup is a good partner for the dumplings. You can not go wrong at this place, the only thing better is going to Hong Kong.

Terrific dumplings, but that's expected. Our waiter Andy was, perhaps, the nicest and most efficient server I've seen anywhere. Let's make him famous! Oh, and try the shrimp dumplings. Here's a photo

It's all about the XLB, but if you need to round out with a few sides, the pork chop fried rice, green beans, and wontons w/ chili sauce are (almost) equally special.
