Taiwanese rice cakes, bean curd soup, and garlic green beans are the reasons I go here. Not crazy about their dumplings.

Dont order everything at once. You will get flooded with great food getting cold because it comes so fast.

If you think the xiao long baos are the best here, then you obviously haven't tried them at Long's noodle house or Chen's in Vancouver. At Din Tai Fung their pork dumplings are below average.

Get here before they open. Line wrapped around door by 11am. You can watch them make dumplings in kitchen while you wait.

I don't know if it's overrated or not but damn it's good. Also avoided the 30 min wait at 3:30 on a Sunday when we spotted 2 seats at the bar when we walked in. Also the $5 pork chop is a don't miss!

This is the first DTF location I've been to where the quality was disappointing. The meat in their xiaolong bao and wonton w spicy sauce was dry and overcooked. The fried rice and pork chop were okay.
