A great place to visit any time of the year. There you will find the Auckland Museum and the Winter Garden. Both worth visiting!
Great setup!! The Hapuka Belly is amazing, even better when coupled with the asparagus side!! and the Snapper Tortilla is also excellent!!

Totally relaxing atmosphere. Just a few walks aways and you'll find yourself surrounded by different restaurants and dessert houses. Best place to visit for picnics and small gatherings with friends.

The best beach I have ever known. It's seen me fall on the rocks as a kid, get engaged, walk & run it, even let my dog pee on it, and it's never complained. A Good beach worth keeping.
Do NOT forget sunscreen. Bit crowded with tourists, try to go during the week: Rangitoto view is stunning. I found a perfect hidden bench on the way up, so keep your eyes open!

A beautiful sunset on this wild and windy beach. The view on the evening I was here was quite surreal.
