- Jenny L.April 24, 2016VAT refund is after security and before U.S. preclearance. It's near the bathroom in the right side of the main concourse. If you went down the escalator you already passed it.
- The women's bathroom has a hair straightener! Well-done, Ireland! 👌
- Huge lines to security checks on T1. Make sure to arrive early if you don't want to miss your flight.

- Get a day rambler card for Dublin bus. Beside you can take the airlink, you can use any buses the rest of the day. All for 6.50
- Wish all airports were like this. Free Wifi, fast through security and friendly staff!

- T2 is a godsend! T1 is ok but a lot more basic and expect early morning queues for checkin and security. Don't waste time on electronic passport check on arrival, they're hit and miss.
- When you go through security don’t walk away and leave your tray on the belt. It slows down the process for everyone.
- If your going into the city use the coach rather than bus €12 return but is quicker by far

- Zhila SMarch 3, 2013You have to go through security on a connection, even if you passed security in the country you flew in from. They WILL confiscate your bottled water.
- Buy 3 days unlimited bus card for 10 EUR. You can do unlimited travel with those. The cheapest way to travel to the airport (for return fares)

- Well functioning airport compared to some on the continent. Note for Aer Lingus passengers, you may depart from T1 despite check-in in T2 so leave 5-10 minutes extra for the walk!
- Free wifi everywhere. Try to be in the airport before time. Better queue management. safe traveling across Europe

- Food options are limited but this is a modern and beautiful airport.

- Free wifi and now an increasing number of comfortable lounging/charging/working stations in T1 due to the refurb. ✈️

- If you fly a lot an Aer lingus gold card gets you into fastrack security. Very very worth it. Or you can pay DAA €150 for annual pass.
- ConnorJune 14, 2016Line for Checking your bag and security can be very long, leave yourself time. Connecting flights gates are a long walk from security.

- Local Dublin bus #16 outside of the airport is the cheapest way to get into the city - only €2.65 to O'Connell street
- The best airport I've ever seen! Free and unlimited wifi, good coffee shops and everything else you might need and there is also easy access to city center

- YoungIm JoAugust 27, 2014If your airline uses terminal 2 and if you're planning of transferring in somewhere else like me, you can't use the self checkin machine to check in. And remember, check in line is extremely long.

- Aer Lingus and most long haul carriers operate from T2, with US CBP pre-clearance available for USA-bound flights.
