- Be ready to be discriminated, seeing workers behaving over ratio, hard to find polite personal and easy to offend them because you don't speak German (and you kindly ask them to speak English)
- Cheapest water in the airport at Gate A49. 1,50€ for 0,5l.
- Cosmin PituNovember 10, 2017Sockets/plugs for charging available at the light gray departure/arrival signs (at least Terminal A/B) through/under which one can pass. Also on select pillars near departure gates (e.g. B23) !
- Thomas WiltsieDecember 3, 2014If you are going to be more than a couple of hours the flight club by gate b 71 is a good deal. Only 21.00 euros for a day pass includes internet food beer and wine and peace!
- if have stopover minimum 3 hours: take a taxi to Duesseldorf Kaiserswerth. nice spot on Rhine river for a little walk and some german food (try Tonhalle restaurant close to railway tracks)
- Great airport. Easy to navigate and not at all intimidating. I love how they have been able to shrink the space from the gate to public transport. No unnecessary long walks, love it.
- Buy your reading stuff before Security Check-In. The book stores are not as good inside security area. I can recommend the Japanese Sushi Restaurant outside as well! #DUS #airport

- Heinz WuthOctober 14, 2018All you can from a German Airport. Well organized and fast ways to travel inside the terminals.
- Train station below airport. S1. Train station connect by sky train. Plus plenty of taxis and busses. Well organised. 30 euros to city centre . Or 2:70 on the bu/ train.
- 30min. Free WiFi. No need to fill out the formular with your private data. Just check the T&Cs called "Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen" and enjoy the free 30min.
- Serhat IDecember 4, 2022Book your parking online, take sky train directly to airport, free WiFi and you can always use gate B for A or vice versa if one is busier than other. Have fun!

- New connection pathway between Gates A and C. In case you might want a Starbucks Coffee or just explore the airport.
- One of the best organized airports in Germany. Always fast in, and out. Super friendly service. Everybody speaks multiple languages.
- Good Airport, bright, cozy. Take the monorail for fast movement.

- If you fancy Italian food, check out either Rigoletto (close to the A gates) or L’Osteria (in between B and C gates). Good quality food in an easy ambiance

- Nice airport but security lines are out of control! If A is packed try B or C gate security since they’re all accessible fairly easily.

- Ton BongersJune 16, 2017Great performance: in 5' from entrance to terminal C, include passport and luggage check!
- Super quick security. Never had to wait more than 5 minutes. (Over 100 flights taken from here.)
- Arriving with the car depending in time of day you may need +1hour, in order to fly sweat-free.
- Next to the Camel smoking lounge at Gate C (37) there is a vending machine that's basically 50 Cents cheaper than in the bloody restaurants around.

- Miki SetlurJuly 19, 2017At Terminal C there's a great market with a Vegetarian Island. Serve yourself and pay by weight. It's a tasty & healthy offering. Try the patatas bravas and potatoes with dill and dijon
- Except for the crappy skytrain this is a well organized airport with a good selection of shops and fast checkin.

- 30 minutes free wifi, well organized airport, good food in restaurant aside gate 84, smoking lounge is located near gate 78, terminal A.
- J ShaikhAugust 11, 2014late at night sky train won't start until 3:45 AM frm station to terminal. To reach terminals A B or C take a bus service from ground floor. The bus wil leave you at the common stop. Walk to terminals

- Outside security area there is a decent sushi restaurant called Kikako! It's close to the sexurity check for Terminal A. Took me a while to find it!
