- if have stopover minimum 3 hours: take a taxi to Duesseldorf Kaiserswerth. nice spot on Rhine river for a little walk and some german food (try Tonhalle restaurant close to railway tracks)

- ElifMay 14, 2022Check the airport application before arriving the airport. I was diverted 3 security gates one in another terminal and I was almost missing flight. Without a luggage and 90 minutes before the flight.

- It’s a small but cosy airport. Plenty of food options. No or very small lines for security checks

- Tori SovakDecember 17, 2016Easy airport to navigate. But only 30 minutes of free wifi. Be sure to get food before crossing the "border" as there's no food on the other side.
- Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door: 1- Hugo Junkers Lounge (B)= 27€. 2- Open Sky Lounge (C) = 27€

- Passport police was so friendly, smiling and talkative who surprised me a lot :)
- A good selection of local as well as international newspapers for free at the gate (A gates)
- Large airport. Prepare for walking. Sometimes it's empty but mostly crowded.
- Tax Refund is in departures area. Get the Customs Stamp first before claiming the refund.
- Nice airport, but get here early all the same. Check-in queues can be very long and winding 🥲
