- Stuart ChristieJune 16, 2022make sure you have plenty money if you are taking your car as the pickup and drop off charges are attrocious. £4 for 10 minutes to drop someone off..unless they can do a ten minute walk
- TaylorJuly 30, 2016The new security hall works quite well if you're not an idiot and move your bins to the repack-and-sort-yourself-out tables after the scanners. Be proactive!
- steglobalOctober 5, 2013AIRLINK coach is the best and only option to consider to get into the city centre (30mins). £6 for return trip, free wifi onboard the coach and plug sockets to charge your phone too. Perfect.
- Brandon KirklenOctober 18, 2016Scottish security is the best. So easy to get through. And I'm saying this even after they searched my backpack.

- Katie FramptonMarch 23, 2014They want you to pay to use a locker to charge your phone. No thank you. You can usually find an outlet behind a rubbish bin. You have to sit on the floor, but better than paying £1.50 for 30 mins.
- To avoid the scandalous £1 fee (£5 after 10 mins) to drop off / pick up, use the FREE dropoff area. Keep to the left lane, and take the first left after you pass the Spitfire. Almond Road. Read more
- Go to park and ride and park for free if you are waiting for someone that way if flight is delayed you don't pay more than £1 in drop off pick up. Get them to ring you when their bags have arrived.
- Domestic arrivals is probably the worst you will find in the UK. First you have to fight your way through the entire departure lounge, then 3 flights of stairs - no escalators.
- Michael BrowningDecember 30, 2020Incredibly illogically laid out, made to walk miles for what should be shortest of journeys. Overly commercialised, inadequate seating. Dictatorial staff. Dreadful security area. Worst airport in UK
- Domestic arrivals is the worst you will find in the UK. You have to fight your way through the entire departure lounge, then 3 flights of stairs no escalators.
- Laura BuechelerDecember 16, 2014Very modern with good connection to Glasgow and Edinburgh via tram or busses
- Ciaran QuinnFebruary 16, 2013Good prices on Whisky...better than in town. Reference price of Johnny Walker Blue Label £200 /l or €162/70cl.
- Joy KellettJune 1, 2011Airline service to the city centre is amazing! Always two waiting outside the airport, leave every few minutes and only 6 pounds return!
- Troy ParkinsJune 5, 2014Take the new "metro tram" to downtown Edinburgh. Only 5£ for the entire trip (end to end).
- Greatly improved airport overall. Easyjet self-tagging for bag drop is shocking. No queue management whatsoever.
- Eat have great breakfast. Yo Sushi for for everything else. Bookshop is WAY overpriced but that’s not a surprise to anyone.
- HankAugust 19, 2017Total chaos. Signs incorrectly direct you (eg the international arrivals area 1 and 2, they both point out into the street when they are at opposite ends of the building).
- Marcel PalacioJune 3, 2013One of the few airports visited that still have free WiFi!!! 2 hrs is more than enough!!!
- Early flight into EDI? Grab a coffee before leaving to collect your bag to save queuing at the Costa in arrivals. Is worth the wait though. Fast service
- Rebecca MAugust 12, 2017Wow. Security was some sort of fantasy of efficiency. Points off though for the officious way I was selected for "random" security screening. Boarding the plane felt like a prisoner transfer.
- There is nothing good at all about this airport. If you use it once you probably won’t notice if you use it regularly you’ll quickly despise it!
- Body scanners now actively seeking out Middle Aged white business men to balance out their profiling of young Asian men. Quite amusing.
- Kaan GucluerNovember 26, 2016Çocuklar için yapılan oyun parkını fikrini beğendim.. I like the idea of having a kids play ground
- eDreamsApril 16, 2012If you're travelling with unprocessed film, you should know they can be safely examined by x-ray machines without suffering ill effects.(It was previously advised to check them in).
- emmanuel alexAugust 2, 2015City link bus every 30mins to and from central Glasgow directly outside main terminal- good service.
- The security staff are so rude; definitely in need of training in interpersonal and communication skills. They created a real sour end to our trip to Scotland.

- Best value food are the £1 sandwiches at Boots, can't go wrong!
- EAT is the best value place for breakfast here. Prices same as their High St shops and good service. No rip offs. Only £1.40 for big cup of tea.
- Edinburgh Airport makes flying a truly miserable experience whether you are arriving or departing, it’s all equally bad.
- There is some good shopping airside, world duty free, mac, Kurtz Geiger, boots, dixons.
- Ganesh MurthyJune 7, 2018EDI has only 1 terminal. Checking in and bag drop is slower - fewer counters. Security screening flags lot of bags but most times nothing is found. Arrive early! Lounge is very average.
- Catriona MacArthurMarch 10, 2014use your receipt info to fill in an online survey at EAT and get a free hot drink. win!
- The £1 drop off charge is a nice wee indicator of the contempt which this airport has for you :)
