- Troy ParkinsJune 5, 2014If you get a William Wallace-era wooden bow & plastic arrows, be sure to check it. Because security here is very TSA-like and they'll think a "wee man" like this could take over a 757 with it!!

- There's a new bus route straight from Glasgow to Edinburgh airport - very handy!
- EAT is the best value place for breakfast here. Prices same as their High St shops and good service. No rip offs. Only £1.40 for big cup of tea.

- Every time I've flown from here it's been late in the day with a BA or EZY flight back to London. Never had a queue for security in all the times I've been here.
- If flying BA and you have a smartphone. Use their app to check in online and download your boarding card.
- Getting crowded these days. Head to a lounge if you can
- Cheapest way to the town centre is the bus no. 35 from stand 21. Remember exact change. Fastest is bus no. 100 from stand 19. It has a ticket stand.
- Tiny airport compared to the other Uk airports, but who needs a big airport if a small one does the job
- Try chilling around gate 7 nice and quiet - well some of the time
- Nero at gate 7 bakes its pastries fresh on site. You get them still got first thing.
- If you're going the LCY you can use the Fast Track lane.
- Don't pay for Boingo wireless!! £10 for a day. The Servisair lounge has free WiFi (with better signal), food, drink and alcohol and is £15 for 2 hours. Better value if you must use internet.
- Much improved security and 2 hours free wifi with one time registration.
