Emily R: My favorite restaurant in Boothbay. They have a fabulous happy hour in the Pub from 5-6 everyday serving half-price drinks. Love the truffle fries & everything else on the menu. Lovely cozy atmosphere
Emily R: The best place in Boothbay to spend a sunny afternoon/evening. There's a large deck with couches & lounge chairs right on the harbor and $5 apps and $2 beers during happy hour (4-6 daily).
Emily R: A hidden gem. It doesn't look like much, but it serves great crab & lobster rolls and you can eat outside on the deck by the water overlooking the hand-operated swing bridge. (Also, fried pickles)
Emily R: Beautifully cultivated and designed gardens. Worth multiple trips. The cafe has very good quality, all natural, locally sourced food (and it is delicious). Many of the greens are grown on site.

Emily R: Great sandwiches & pizza. They also have a good selection of gourmet foods & wines and quality souvenirs. Lovely relaxed, but polished, atmosphere. Get food to go and eat on the rocks at Ocean Point.
Emily R: For some reason, they don't seat people outside for dinner, even though they have a huge glorious deck with stunning views of the ocean and sunsets. But, if you ask, they might let you sit out there.
Emily R: Yummy homemade pizza & sandwiches. Nice selection of wines & beer. Near Hendrick's Head Lighthouse for a picnic on the beach. They also have a gift & souvenir shop that focuses on Maine made products.
Emily R: Robinson's has a nice large deck with lots of picnic table seating overlooking the water. Watch lobstermen unload their catch here. The usual fried seafood/lobster fare, good, but not super exciting.
Emily R: Huge menu with lots of selection. "The Cheesecake Factory of Boothbay." Bar is fun at night and there is an outside deck for eating on the water.
Emily R: Yummy New England Chowder as the name suggests (and lobster stew, rolls, burgers, etc). Cute outdoor restaurant on the inner harbor. Sit at the boat bar and order a drink.
Emily R: Delicious ice cream topped Belgian Waffles. Also, there's a whole menu of creative hot dogs - try the "Hot Chihuahua" Located at the foot of the footbridge. Order at the window & eat at a picnic table
Emily R: The top floor is an open deck with a view of the harbor. The tapas are yummy and the blueberry sangria is très refreshing on a warm summer's eve. Probably the most creative food menu in Boothbay.
Emily R: The food is delicious and presented beautifully. Authentically Italian. Ambiance is nice -- if only they were closer to the water it'd be perfect!!
Emily R: Large deck for outdoor dining overlooking the Damariscotta River and the Hodgdon Yacht Boatyard. Pretty standard menu with fried seafood, lobster, burgers, sandwiches, etc.
Emily R: Outdoor (or indoor, if you must) seafood restaurant on the Harbor. Used to be the Lobsterman's Coop until recently. Probably because of this, I like it better than the Lobster Dock down the street.
Emily R: I can't help but love Ebb Tide. A true diner atmosphere with regulars & semi-rude waitresses. Breakfast is served all day! Try the "Squirrel Island." Grab the window seat for great people watching.

Breakfast Spot · 10 tips and reviews
Emily R: One of the most popular breakfast/lunch spots in Boothbay. Good coffee, treats and sandwiches and a very relaxed, home-y charm. Across the street from the harbor. They have happy hour (beer&wine) 2-4!
Emily R: Don't let the name fool you - this isn't just a Bakery. It is run by a Vietnamese family and they serve awesome Vietnamese food. Out back there's an adorable deck with partial views of the harbor.
