Desiree GJuly 1, 2016ordered the strawberry fields cake for my daughters christening. It was a hit! The buttercream is exactly how it should be: light and buttery. The cake was soft and moist. My go-to for cakes now!
The black/white and red/white cookies of all sizes are the best thing on the menu!! The mini-cakes are also worth a spin--lemon and red velvet in particular!

The people who work at Empire are fun/pleasant to deal with before you've had your coffee—rare to find in NYC. And the tip jars question makes me laugh every time. Also Stumptown coffee a major plus.
