- Kyle BluthApril 2, 2012Found this great place a couple of months ago. Great selection and friendly staff. Make sure to ask them for a punch card if you get it by the pound. You buy 10 and then get 1 free!
- Daniel RayFebruary 6, 2018Nestled in the corner between the north/south Port Authority buildings on 9th Ave I’m not sure I’d really call this in the Garment District but worth the walk to its fringes with Hell’s Kitchen.
- Small location with always an awesome cappuccino! Wide variety of coffee beans, my kind of place.
- Harumi UDecember 16, 2014Maybe the best beans selection in this neighborhood and possibly the cheapest as well. Much roomier than its competitors and staff are nice
- Eunice HongJanuary 28, 2014Great selection, my favorite place to get a bag of beans. The Hoboken location is also good!
- TimelessnomadApril 8, 2015Ah the smell of coffee beans! Cute shop to pick up some fresh beans, teas, even Yerba mate. Not the trendiest shop but nice none the less.
- John ANovember 6, 2014If u like flavored coffee beans, they have a good selection, but don't expect high quality roasts. They have $3 morning special 12 oz coffee and scone. But the coffee tastes watered down.
- Jacob FordJune 6, 2015There is a green tea latté here with a special vanilla sweetness I've never tasted elsewhere.
- Alan MortonDecember 16, 2017The coffee beans for buying and taking home are amazing tho my friend highly rates them
- CompassApril 25, 2014From iced to French pressed, to flavored like bananas and peppermint, the menu treats here will perk up any afternoon.
- One of the best coffee shops in NYC. Try the special brew which rotates daily
- One of my favorite places to get coffee in the city! Amazing selection of beans as well!
- Vivie BJuly 6, 2013Gotta love a joint that has a beverage called the Snookie (hazelnut coffee with Mexican spiced cocoa)
- Tony ChanghoMay 19, 2011Have yourself some Snookie--hazelnut coffee and Mexican cocoa. Very satisfying, which I imagine is the opposite of how you'd feel if you actually had Snooki.
- Thomas ReintjesSeptember 5, 2018No mugs, only paper cups. Boo! Affordable organic fair-trade coffee. Yay!
- Daniel RayOctober 8, 2012This is a great place to go get your beans or tea, they have a wonderful selection.
- Empire now offers free Wifi and now has available seating.
- Matthew ReichAugust 30, 2012Tried red velvet chiller for the first time. Pretty great. Also the staff is friendly.
- Alan MortonDecember 16, 2017Reasonable coffee not amazing but still better than your average riff raff coffee
- Ken MohnkernMarch 29, 2014As far as tea goes, this looks like a good place to buy tea supplies, but if you go in for a cup of tea you'll get a Stash teabag. Disappointing.
- This coffee joint now has free wifi during the hours they are open.
- Like it strong? Mexican Italian is the darkest, deepest bean ever.
- Heading to #NYC #ComicCon? Meetup at Empire Coffee at 41st and 9th for 1 dollar any size coffee and 2.00 Med Late/Cappuccinos. 9am-10:30am Saturday October 9th
