American Restaurant · NoMad · 265 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: Ask for the off-the-menu kale salad: lightweight yet delicious, a great accompaniment to the famous ribs or burger. Service is just about perfect.
Korean Restaurant · East Village · 81 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: Look, they care; & honestly, the food’s good, too. Get the edamame dumplings to start, then the steak (ask for it piping hot). Throw the spicy noodles in there somewhere. Drinks are ok. Plates: small.
Sushi Restaurant · Turtle Bay · 256 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: Clean, minimal space. $48 10 piece chefs choice is just right for lunch or a light dinner. Quality is incredible, & the service is low touch but attentive. Tip is included... what a steal.
New American Restaurant · Gramercy Park · 74 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: Place runs like a well oiled machine: plenty of staff, all very professional but not stiff. For the price, the food is great: lunch doesn't have to be much more than $60 including tip. Polenta app!
Thai Restaurant · Carroll Gardens · 79 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: It is spicy (sometimes crazy spicy), but not to feign authenticity. Menu is casual yet WOW in its selection (fried coconut cakes, stingray soup, etc). Far more approachable vs Pok Pok or Uncle Boons.

Cocktail Bar · West Harlem · 55 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: If you’re north of Central Park this is a gem. Otherwise it’s a good ramen experience w/ excellent cocktails. Thai iced tea cocktail is a must. Add a lot of chili as nothing’s that spicy. Tiny space.
Foxxy B: Last minute booking for a standard room: $~275. Totally worth it. Sexy, minimalist Japanese aesthetic; expansive pool & outdoor dining areas; pretty good beach front (although that’s a bit crowded).
22 W 25th St (btwn 6th Ave & Broadway), New York, NY
Café · NoMad · 46 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: While Verde didn't last long—probably due to their prepackaged $18 "meals"—Maman marries the insta-worthy space w/ insta-worthy, freshly crafted & tasty salads, quiches, & sweets, also for $18; +café!
Sushi Restaurant · Lower Nob Hill · 443 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: The rare gem in SF where great food can be had after 10pm. Sit at the bar, get the $100 omakase, & enjoy the awesome, sorta hilarious DJ (sushi & a shakira remix, anyone?). Great service & atmosphere.
Japanese Restaurant · NoMad · 133 tips and reviews
Foxxy B: Gets busy by noon (a line starts to form). 3 rolls is plenty if you're not that hungry, 5 max if you are. The combos are a much better deal than à la carte. Service is very nice & relatively quick.
Foxxy B: Spacious, very well appointed rooms, hallways, lobby, etc. So hip, but in a classy way (not annoying). Surprisingly well priced, too! Rooftop pool, spa, & bar is a must visit.
Foxxy B: Literally anything Asian: Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese. Not much Chinese. Come for a few meats & fishes, veggies, random drinks, tons of random & unique seasonings, sauces, rices, noodles, etc.
Foxxy B: So, yes it is a basic, down to earth all American PNW “diner”. But their fish is good. The mahi mahi tacos are delicious; the fish & chips are crunchy yet melt in your mouth. Great easy casual choice.
Foxxy B: Greens are volatile & sometimes “diabolical”. Otherwise very well kept. Gets crowded late Winter. Generally very friendly & easy going; a fun & interesting course. Players move quickly. ~100 members.
