Actually like that they don't take reservations (the average wait tends to be an hr+). Not terribly traditional high-end sushi (has a bit of a Blue Ribbon feel) but definitely good. High end scene.
Huge space, plenty of tables, very good quality equipment, & awesome music (there's usually a DJ or two). Odd food menu (no fries, chicken, etc.), but good selection of alcohol. Friendly staff.
Hip & hot scene, good looking & tasting food, & great service. Small space & nearly impossible not to wait during any given day's brunch/dinner hours. Fun Aussie drink selection; no liquor.
Great selection of new & old cookbooks; select selection of stationary & high end pencils; and a cozy cafe with beer & wifi to boot!
Organized, great candy selection, popcorn is OK. Seating is pre-selected. Not terribly crowded despite being the movie theatre of a very wide area. AMEX not accepted.
Calm, collected service & atmosphere. Incredible, delicious, elaborate but not over the top cocktails. Upscale, new, hip scene but not too posh. More than happy to spend time here as a guest or local!
$10 - $12 gets you a couple awesome rice balls & miso soup, all of varying flavors. Adorable japanese lunch spot takes me back to Tokyo!
Dream selection of oatmeals (love the bacon and maple syrup oatmeal), flatiron espresso smoothie is delicious, & staff is pleasant. Everything's $10+.
Best breakfast buffet ever, with a jaw-dropping view (from the top of the 8th tallest bldg by floor count in the world). Easy & very well priced even for non-guests.
