Amrit P. • February 8, 2015Great idea for a day trip from Charlotte. Even in winter the place was scenic!
Megan I. • April 16, 2018Lovely gardens. In early spring, the tulips were up, but it is probably worth revisiting when the roses are in bloom.
Martin B. • May 26, 2016Great view for the Sunrise and especially cool if the clouds are in the mountains. Sufficient parking and good visibility to pull of and on the parkway.
Megan I. • April 16, 2018There is a food court, and the stable now contains several little shops and the Stable Cafe, if you want a more expensive, sit-down meal.
Tim E. • April 29, 2021Beautiful park for many blocks downtown. Walk around, sit awhile, listen to music, bring some food. Wear a mask.
Caulfield R. • March 9, 2011Nice walk along river. Very easy walk or jog. Plant identification and picnic tables.
Ian B. • January 30, 2012Walk to the far North end of the park and you'll find a series of bridges and pathways linking additional lots of land. Kids love this adventure!
Alberto A. • April 21, 2014Great quaint little place on top of a mountain with a great view and hiking trails. Jason takes great care of the guests and is always available. Public bathhouse needs little love. Still, great place
Jackie M. • September 14, 2019Gorgeous colors in the fall. Love all different scenic spots to stop. Going thru the tunnels is fun also.
Sandra L. • February 20, 2012The tour is excellent and the adjoining museum/gift shop was a happy surprise. The staff is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I will go again!
Mitch • April 22, 2017Drum circle on Fridays. Otherwise, very small park in the middle of the shopping district.
Julie R. • June 2, 2022Some shade on the hiking trails which makes for a nice walk. Dog friendly grounds, too.
Aprille - Texas • October 16, 2023Posted signs with info about which birds live there during which seasons. There is also a “Bee City” a special garden area for bees and butterflies. There is the most beautiful boxelder by the lake
Marirene E. • March 31, 2014Good for multiple levels of riders. The main path is hard packed dirt and wide. Great for families and novice riders. Branching from the main path are single track trails for multiple levels.
Jackie H. • July 6, 2018Honestly the carriage ride was a disappointment. You just ride up a path and back. The staff was great, the photos amazing but really it could have been a better overall experience.
