Justin B. • August 8, 2019Well maintained exhibits throughout. A wonderful mix of programming popping up throughout the day. And deceptively big.
Michael S. • July 5, 2013Don't forget to check out the garden in back...great place to bring your lunch or a book!
Sam N. • August 11, 2017Really really cool, the tour is worth it. Beautifully preserved Victorian mansion — most of it is original.
Andrew C. • July 15, 2019Small museum of Jewish history in Maine, specifically about summer camps and generic info about Judaism... plus there is some beautiful artwork in the sanctuary and rooms throughout the place!!
Derek J. • August 26, 2014One of the few places in the country where you can ride a narrow gauge train today. The 45 minute ride is well worth it with friends, family, or even a date.
Erik C. • July 30, 2015Fun if your a believer. Small museum with an awesome host. Love the memorabilia of big foot and Loch Ness & All myths. Cheap museum and def cool gift shop. 7$ entry. Little hidden. Something new.
Anonymous, s. • July 22, 2021Top-5 attraction. It was worth the price, tour guide was knowledgeable, and great panoramic views up top for photos. Can park next to city hall (20 dollars per day) and walk there (and elsewhere).
Bob O. • November 4, 2011Great display of old equipment! Open for the First Friday Walk every month.
Kathryn • October 4, 2014History museum with multiple exhibits: shipbuilding, Liberty ships, lighthouses and their keepers, Civil War, sardine factories, horse trotting parks, etc. There's also a museum gift shop.
