Jamie S. • August 5, 2015In my opinion this is one of the best Japanese restaurants in Toronto, everything you try is just delicious!
Johnny C. • July 27, 2010Any udon with extra noodles is amazing. Combo it with takosen and a salad for deliciousness!
Adam M. • November 6, 2016Gyu Kaku is a great yakiniku chain from Japan. The menu is well planned, well priced, and delicious. The atmosphere is fun and great for groups.
Flavio T. • July 4Sushi offerings are very limited, service is slow, drinks are disappointing. Overall experience is not worth the price.
Jamie S. • August 5, 2015Authentic Japanese place - I recommend it if you're looking for the real thing. The atmosphere is comfortable and the food is solid & comforting. But - the washroom is outside around the corner!
Romain B. • October 24, 2018Oysters are amazing, spicy calamari is delicious, everything I tried (eating and drinking) was always good!
Cameron D. • May 1, 2019Gyunan Udon is solid. Recommend.
Rogerio A. • November 23, 2017Ramen 🍜 was great!! I also recommend the dumplings, they are lightly fried and fresh . Atmosphere and service was great !
Dmytro K. • December 12, 2022Unlimited food you are preparing ongrill. Good miso beef, salmon, shrimps.
Khanh L. • November 6, 2016Japanese tapas style dishes, great and fun spot. Make sure you order sake bombs :)
Tehraner • February 21I really enjoy the ramen choices at this spot – they're seriously delicious and full of flavor 🍲. The red 🌶️ and the black beans ones are a must-try.
Sarah H. • February 10, 2017The classic salmon sushi burrito was delicious! Also, their wasabi packets have a legitimate spice to them so even if you like heat, don't just slather it on. :)
Gabriel S. • January 1, 2023Tonkatsu is a common Japanese dish. Here they do guykatsu - deep fried beef (instead of pork). Got the Zen with 5 sauces, with chuck flap & black angus sirloin. Also had curry. Beef & sauces decent.
Thomas • October 26, 2012Impressive new Ambience!! love the interior !! 10% discount with an opening flyer. Ask to be seated in a booth vs a regular table. Menu same as the one @ Scotia Plaza. Bento B is the best value.
Mandrew • October 23, 2011Best teriyaki in Toronto...Split an okonomi yaki as an appetizer (it's like a pancake), then get seafood yakisoba, any teriyaki dish or, my favourite, the Yakiniku Dinner!
