Bardia K. • December 9, 2017A classic Gainesville mom and pop shop and one of the area's oldest restaurants. Large menu, but you can't really go wrong with anything. Country fried steak sandwich was great.
Charlotte • September 4, 2012I am addicted to the Hawaiian pulled pork & slaw! The meatball sub is the best ever.......in fact any of the subs we have eaten there have all passed the taste test & FAR outweigh any other sub shop!
Catherine D. • February 8, 2017The avocado, turkey sandwich is great. The green shake is good. I can never go wrong with the soup in a bread bowl either.
Shelby H. • August 25, 2017Yummy salads and sandwiches! Very pleasant atmosphere. And I love the chocolate custard!
Sam L. • September 26, 2018Original Sonny’s is the best Sonny’s. Love this place for Gator football weekends. Get the turkey or chicken, the sides are all great.
Sean P. • August 13, 2014Falafel waffle is plenty filling. And the Minty Palmer is a refreshing way to wash it down.
Izzy B. • March 16, 2013If you love southwest salads, you Will love this place. Really Good dressings too. Chipotle ranch is on Fire
dawn s. • October 29, 2016Every sub is fresh every time. I personally like the American Classic, ham and provolone. Also, turkey breast and provolone is my other go-to. Always delicious!! 😋
Chris A. • May 12, 2014Ms. Debbie and her team do a great job serving some delicious sandwiches, and pretty darn quick as well. So friendly.
Don G. • October 8, 2023We called an hour ahead for four subs. They didn’t have them ready for 45 minutes after the pick up time. Then not a single sub was right! Not one part wrong bread, wrong meat, cheese and veggies. BAD
Corinna F. • March 23, 2012Betta Ham N Chedda sandwich & the potato salad FTW
Susan S. • March 1, 2021Hubby and I love the sweet and smoky ribs. For a few dollars more you can make it AYCE. We always get garlic toast. For sides I prefer the corn on the cob and baked sweet potato.
