Matt T. • June 10, 2015Picture perfect Hawaii beach. Soft hot sand and an amazing place to watch the sun go down.
Seaira K. • March 9, 2011Swimming to the buoy and back a few times is a nice little workout! Plus you can usually see a good assortment of sea life :)
Malia K. • August 17, 2019Best beach for families and kids on Oahu. But the beach is always too "coraly" so wear shoes.
Corrie E. • July 9, 2013Fantastic beach. Not busy, great for body boarding and still close to amenities.
Luis A. • August 12, 2014Great place to go sit and watch the sunset or just go for a dip. Usually packed, and the parking is a headache. Park at the Ala Moana Center and walk.
Badette M. • July 22, 2017A great place to do anything, from running, walking, paddling, and chilling with friends and family!!! Always bring your camera for awesome nature shots!!!
Rene T. • May 30, 2022Has a small beach area on one side and a shower in the park. No parking, is therefore rather little visited but well accessible on foot or by bike.
Alecia M. • October 12, 2012Great surf for beginners but it can get very crowded. Lots of turtles though.
Best of Hawaii L. • June 7, 2015Enjoy a nice walk in Waikiki and watch the Sunsets and scenic views while in they surf on the beautiful Ocean
Jan R. • November 3, 2015A nice little lagoon between the Ala Wai marina and Waikīkī beach.
Suprachibby • February 2, 2015The area past the wall was a little dirtier than the other parts of the beach and had some "interesting" characters in the afternoon. Still a beautiful view and great place to see the sunset.
West N. • February 14, 2012Fantastic surf point the Rice Bowl is easily accessible from this beautiful beach.
Nick F. • March 24, 2014Indeed an escape from the tourist of Waikiki. Only a 45 min walk by foot. Good hike, pleasant winds.. Tranquil, peaceful and a must when visiting.
Tomomi I. • May 29, 2022I want to keep the beautiful lagoon secret from tourists 😉 Swim with pretty fish. They are usually by the barrier reefs 🐠
Elston G. • December 30, 2015There is no public parking, and this is a very rocky area underwater... You will not want to be barefoot. Not very crowded. This beach requires some extra effort to go to, but I'm glad I went.
Amanda • July 22, 2012Best beach in Waikiki, away from the weekly tourist!!! Worth the 7 minute walk for sure!
JH H. • September 1, 2018This is where they do the weekly performance. Get here early to snag a spot!
Kamil . • February 2, 2012Great for taking photos of the full moon rising behind Waikiki hotel buildings (Makes the moon look bigger). Occasional yoga classes (@yogawithgin)
Brett S. • February 15, 2012It's pretty windy on the lagoon, but no waves. And there's a huge open grass field with some nice shade trees.
Kamil . • February 2, 2012Perfect for a romantic full moon picnic. Walk down the beach towards Diamon Head to find a quiet place and enjoy a good wine & cheese with your date.
Thomas K. • August 6, 2015Beautiful, historic, great heart of Waikiki on the beach location, outstanding service.
Paige C. • January 11, 2015An amazing snorkeling site - I saw dozens of fish and an eel! A great beach to relax too.
