Tom H. • March 5, 2016Fancy Latin American restaurant with a great view of the East River. A walk along the adjacent Gantry Plaza State Park is recommended.
danielle p. • November 14, 2014AMAZING!!! My favorite place by far. From the outstanding latin cuisine to the amazing NYC views. There cocktail are delicious and there staff serves everything with a smile!
Kaity N. • January 29, 2011All of their arepas are made fresh. I travel all the way from Brooklyn for arepas at Arepas Cafe. Enough said.
Mingster C. • January 21, 2015It's like being able to order lunch specials any time of the day! My favorites so far are the chicken nuggets and turkey burger combo. The portions are also very generous! This is a very small place.
Peter F. • March 25, 2018A refreshing change in a neighborhood predominantly filled with Indian food. Barlovento serves Latin cuisine from Puerto Rico, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. Great drinks, great food.
Elvis R. • November 26, 2023Authentic and homemade- fresh, simple and flavorful. Get the cevice, the Bandera (a plate consisting of all 3 of their well house dishes- tripe, ceviche and goat stew), flan and black berry shake!
What's Good Here • October 9, 2014The Empanadas de Jueyes, fried patty stuffed with crabmeat, are delicious and have a crispy, flavorful crust. Beware though that the filling uses imitation crab like that found in California rolls.
Lauren V. • October 20, 2018Casual place for a quick lunch. Has great hot dish combos with 4 sides. Soup, sandwiches with a twist & empanadas are all good. The green sauce is where it’s at (spicy)
Byron • July 21, 2010Some of the best empanadas in all of Queens. Cant beat the $1 price. Don't be afraid to try the chicken ones too.
Carlos G. J. • September 5, 2011A deadly combination of peruvian cuisine and afro-peruvian jazz LIVE! This is a unique place in the entire east coast! if you come to New York, you MUST visit Tutuma!
funky f. • June 13, 2016Great drinks. They make a great caipirinha, and totally try the salgadinhos for appetizers. For main course you can't go wrong with the sirloin steaks.
Carolina B. • January 14, 2013A melhor comida brasileira em NY! The best Brazilian food in NY! :))
