D O. • November 19, 2013Great architecture, huge screen and very good programming in this classic movie theatre now owned by the Viennale.
Amanda B. • May 20, 2018Adorable old theatre with one screen and a snack counter with Fritzcola and candies. They have OV English screenings with German subtitles, cheap tickets: €9
Can U. • January 12, 2016Eventhough they do not know what type of coffee they serve, the quality and atmosphere is worth to be there. The foods look so nice and modernized which will make me come again.
Stacey H. • November 13, 2017What a nice place to enjoy a well-picked retrospective. The newly-renovated cinema reflects the atmosphere of the old times, which makes the old movies look sort of contemporary.
Daniel H. • April 23, 2017I must totally recommend Filmmuseum, which is a cinema that only shows large and perfectly curated programs of often wonderfully restored originals. Great and classy speak-easyish bar attached. Gold!
Paul K. • June 18, 2017I love the fact that those old cinemas still exists. You feel like in a time machine and the fact that it just has one room makes it even more special. Try it out guys!
Josef K. • October 8, 2014Cosy little cinema with a good selection of ov arthouse movies. Comfortable seats, friendly staff and a nice bar.
Michael A. • June 13, 2019Great movies, new and classics in English. Helpful staff and nice pre-flick eating/drinking area (bring cash for that).
Viktoria Eva • November 13, 2016Small and cosy place, perfect to watch the newest movies in original language. They also offer specials.
Leo • July 19, 2012One of the weirdest places you can see in Vienna. I'm not sure if i like it but it's interesting for sure.
Ahmet Talha Y. • January 5, 2016Imax salon with incredible sound system, if the movie is original version then you cannot find better than this in the city, I watched star wars there and it was great experience
Johann K. • December 14, 2013Saal1 ist recht lang gezogen. Sitzplätze eher in der Mitte - oder Feldstecher mitnehmen..
Arda A. • January 27, 2018They have many theaters with 3D options as well. They also show good number of Turkish movies with subtitles. The only downside is that movies are mostly dubbed in German except the special ones.
Daniel H. • March 29, 2017The first Viennese Cinéma and still active. A diamond! Please go there to experience time travel with a contemporary film schedule. Go!
Florian P. • September 23, 2012Every year in September, it's Austrias only dedicated horror and genre movie festival!
Petsch M. • February 14, 2016Ever wondered how 6 Austrian racers can place in the top 5? Visit Vienna's leading indie theater!
Pat A. • October 23, 2013Nice place, weird film. The best feature a clock at the ticket counter so you can check how much time you have or have lost
Anna S. • February 12, 2012Very weird performances! If you love yourself some good opera singing, better avoid this one and save up for the real opera :D funny costumes though, we had a good laugh!
