Dave M. • June 25, 2020Former privately run amusement park turned public park north of Leeds. A perfect place for fresh air when it isn’t too full. Best approached from the car park on the east side, north of Alwoodley.
Michael C. • December 22, 2010A nice place to escape the city on a sunny day, sit and relax with an overpriced sandwich or a Greggs sausage roll.
Dave M. • February 3, 2019Historic house with extensive grounds that act as a public park & provide a great place for a walk. The house acts as a museum for furniture, art etc. There’s also a farm for kids & a cafe.
Rebecca W. • May 21, 2012Get there early in summer! Best place to chill with friends but gets busy fast!
Dave M. • June 14, 2018C18 estate that hosts both Bramham Horse Trials & Leeds Festival. The walk around the park on cross-country day is great in good weather, but the festival site can get very muddy when it rains.
Beverley S. • April 26, 2014There is a free car park at the end of Green Road and it's right next to the playground
Matt B. • April 22, 2011Just one of the best parks in Leeds. Beautifully kept up by LCC and great in any season. Really good children's play area if you have kids.
Steve B. • March 30, 2018Woods, trees, a lake with ducks, bike park, history, and a full English breakfast for £4.50
Y P. • September 10, 2010If it's not raining or snowing choose a table outside. It's a great place to rest after a wonderful walk around to roundhay park
David T. • March 20, 2017Always a busy park & a great selection of equipment for the kids. One or two are in need of a bit of TLC mind and we avoided the cafe due to the recent change in ownership and subsequent price hike.
Curt S. • December 1, 2020The weans had a great time here - they were tired after, so money well spent. Decent food selection for lunch as well, and the staff seem to be taking Coronavirus adjustment in hand.
J S W. • August 14, 2017Beautiful park with lots to do plus cafe with reasonable prices for food and drink.
Kat B. • June 9, 2013One of the quieter parks in Leeds. Nice bit of woodland, play park & not overly busy when the sun comes out.
Amadeus H. • December 20, 2018Stop by the cafe in the early afternoon. It's an adult learning community centre which helps people with special needs. All proceeds to a good cause. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
