Marion D. • December 5, 2012The 10-course tasting menu contains an appetizer (lamb), 4 starters (mainly fish), sushi, maki & sashimi as the middle course, 3 main courses (carp, salmon, goose) and a blend of desserts.
Jon S. • January 5, 2014Best restaurant we visited. Don't bother with puffin or whale, but try the Guns N Roses cocktail and the Grillmarket Chocolate for dessert.
Colton G. • May 27, 2016A must when in Reykjavík. Get the regular with "everything" - crunchy onions, signature mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup, I believe. Delicious! Midnight snack or otherwise any time. Only 420 Kr.
Matthew Riley M. • July 27, 2015One of the best cafes in Reykjavik with a cool vibe in the evening (it changes to a happening bar) and great food. Wifi here is AWESOME and there are power points, so good place to work from too.
Jale R. • March 29, 2017Excellent fish soup - with variety of sea meat and food! Highly recommend it!
Jean • February 16, 2018Get the 2 or 3 course lunch menu featuring some really interesting local seafood + great value for money! Getting just 2 courses? Go for starters — way more interesting for gourmets 😋 than desserts.
أسيل العبداللطيف .. • January 18, 2023Pecan pie and apple pie was very yum, their black coffee is perfect 👍🏼
Samantha Kate G. • March 19, 2019Pizzas are cheaper than other places I looked. A hipster / funky bar with a good selection cocktails starting at 1.500.isk. College or Uni students would feel right at home here
Evan K. • August 28, 2017Great pub with surprisingly good food. Make sure to check out the "secret" downstairs for some fun singing performances.
Nicholas M. • August 25, 2017This location serves high craft coffee including in pour over (v60), siphon, chemex, and aeropress (in addition to the usual selection of espresso drinks).
Ryan B. • March 30, 2018Great craft beer from all over the country! Would recommend the flight served on Iceland shape tray with beers from each coast of Iceland. (Oh and the free waffles are a good point!)
Kaitlin • September 10, 2022Best coffee stop in Iceland. Coffee’s sourced from a local one-woman roaster right in town. Both the filter coffee and the espresso are great — filter comes with free refills.
Chloe T. • September 26, 2015The icelandic gourmet fest really open my eyes , from puffy fish , lobster to the lamb that melt in your mouth. .. superrr...
Thomas P. • September 18, 2012Nice burgers, clean and restful place which opens early in the morning! Very cool to read a book and magazines and browse the Web while staying in a warm place. Cool for travelers!
Tim v. • December 1, 2019Please order the chicken wings as snack or together with the ribs as shared first dish. The best chicken wings ever eaten in my life!!

Ben E. • October 30, 2022Having just come from Ireland you'd think I'd be more discerning but this is for sure one of my favorite Irish Pubs around.
Oliver B. • November 7, 2018The chicken salad was easily the best I had in recent memory. Where did they get the chicken from?
Thorlaug A. • December 10, 2012My absolute favorite place in Reykjavik. Great for eat-in or take-out ('THE' fish takeout in town), reasonably priced and great atmosphere. Try their salad, gingerale and of course skyronaise sauces.
