Hendrik • November 8, 2015Rooftop deck, treats, nice breakfast and cute, cozy rooms - there's nothing else a hotel needs!
Terri H. • May 20, 2011They are kennel-less boarding (free range pups!) the only place in the city I'd leave my dog. The owner and emps care for the dogs as if they were their own.
Sharon D. • January 5, 2016Beautiful hotel in the heart of San Francisco. Booked by my husband for my 50th birthday weekend. Would definitely recommend
Tamela A. • 2 weeks agoAmazing hotel, I really enjoyed my stay . The staff was very friendly and well-behaved. They maintained a clean environment and would recommend others.
Jennifer C. • March 26, 2016Really nice hotel, the restaurant has great food and cocktails. The pool in the spa was so cold tho and it is at the top of a really steep hill - don't pull your cases up, get a cab or the tram!
Alexander S. • September 12, 2017Exceptional service, attention to details. breakfasts, dinners, cocktails. This is the best hotel I've stayed so far (20-something countries, 200-something cities). LOVE!
Nouk D. • October 12, 2019Glad to be checking out of here. Our room was barely even the size of a closet... And all the supposed charm of the building is killed by unfriendly staff. Never again!
Kelpen H. • June 5, 2010Great hotel; close to everything in SF, a great 1950s vibe and a beautiful pool.
James H. • May 1, 2012A beautiful hotel with excellent service located near almost everything in downtown SF!
Annie M. • November 27, 2018Love this quaint hotel. Easy to find, walking distance to union square but far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. Excitingly haunting! Lovely Christmas decorations during the holidays!
Sean M. • November 8, 2018Anyone who says this isn't on par with other Kimpton's clearly hasn't stayed at Sir Francis Drake. This hotel is amazing, staff is friendly and the neighborhood is considerably better than Union Sq.
Miles B. • June 30, 2015Excellent hotel. Prime location, small, but modern and cozy room, great fitness room, and friendly staff. New favorite SF hotel.
Claire L. • July 12, 2013Great boutique hotel near Union Square and the 2, 3, 30, 45 bus lines. Burritt Room downstairs! Ask for Eric at the front desk - he's super awesome.
Dan • February 3, 2013The lounge in this tiny hotel is pure film noir, private and quiet.
Fi V. • November 12, 2015Nice hotel, perfectly located! Two blocks from Montgomery train station and two blocks from Union Square
Darren F. • October 7, 2013Do NOT stay at this place. I think there's a dead guy in one of the rooms. It sure smells that way.
Kyle G. • June 19, 2016A cheap place to stay in San Francisco. Good value, and close to a grocery store, Walgreens, and some cafes.
x x. • August 29, 2010Had a great stay here. Guests are typically responsible young foreign travelers. There are parties on weekends at Medjool on the first floor & the Sky Terrace on the roof.
