Bre • November 6, 2014The arboretum is a wonderful garden to visit. It's peaceful and has beautiful flowers.
Michal S. • April 13, 2016Really nice 3 mile loop with various overlooks to the lake. Great place to go for a run or just walk and enjoy the scenery.
Michal S. • March 13, 2016Beautiful lake with some well put together trails and a few spots to sit and hang out.
Shari D. • October 20, 2015The Halloween house at the corner of Oakwood and East starts decorating early, I believe in September, lots of amazing decorations. One year they gave out 1,000 pieces of candy in ONE hour.
Cecil D. • October 5, 2013I like the Loblolly trail the best but the Company Mill trail leads to some great rock climbing and white water viewing.
Jennifer F. • February 28, 2016Very peaceful...nice to walk around. Not too much to do besides enjoy the peace and scenery, but that's fine by me. There is a small museum/info center to visit as well.
Emma • June 14, 2016There are great trails where you can bike, run, and walk. The trails seem to go on and on!!
Jeremy B. • August 28, 2011Got married here fifteen years ago (May'96)--my wife and the rose garden are both still beautiful!
Meredith D. • May 4, 2011There's a box of doggie bags near the Hargett & Dawson St entrance so it's easy to clean up after your pup!
@ExploreRaleigh • October 15, 2011Play with the motion activated water fountain. It's a lot of fun for a small group.
Daniel C. • November 12, 2010Beautiful Lake, Great Place to Hike, I come to this place to relax and get away from Life..
Laura D. • February 3, 2012Raleigh's most recognizable WWI memorial. Graduating senior class rings spend the night here before commencement ceremonies, and after a Wolfpack win, this beautiful monument is lit up red at night!
Noel Y. • September 26, 2017Overall we like this park. Plenty of open spaces for the kids to run and free play. Playground is above average. Biking/hiking trail by the river is great. Downside: sometimes sketchy people..
Ashley S. • December 1, 2014This dog park is the best. Tons of room and the trees provide a lot of shade in the summer time.
Paul P. • December 31, 2015Beautiful scenery and a piece of history. You don't need to spend more than 15 minutes here, though. Hidden gem right down the road from North Hills. Love this spot!
