Rue. S. • June 22, 2022竹田宮恒久王の邸宅として 1911 年に建てられたフランス・ルネッサンス様式の重厚な建物で、設計は赤坂離宮も設計した片山東熊。鉄骨煉瓦造スレート葺。この一帯はかつて高輪南町御用邸と呼ばれた地域で竹田宮邸・北白川宮邸・東久邇宮邸 (元は朝香宮邸) が並んでいたが、現在も残る建物はこの一棟のみ。
