Christy Z. • October 2, 2010The keyword here is fried. Forget everything you know about light Japanese food and feast on the tempura, croquettes, and karaage. Great comfort food for winter time.
MJ C. • October 22, 2014One of my favorite downtown Korean restaurant in Toronto. Everything is good. Karaoke on the 2nd floor.
Briar R. • October 16, 2012The bulgogi and kalbi is delicious. It comes with authentic pickled radish, kimchi, and spicy bean sprouts!
Aaron R. • January 19, 2011Takoyaki and Ikageso are the best of any Izakaya in the city. Butterfish Aburi is amazing. Don't just come here for the sushi. They have an excellent variety of traditional Japanese tapas.
TasteAway.com • June 14, 2013Try the yummy coconut rice and tasty Pad Thai. You can order takeout or delivery online from this restaurant!
Robert N. • July 24, 2012Good sushi and great prices. A tempura roll cost less than the Happy Meal we got for my daughter about a block away.
Timothy C. • November 21, 2014With Guu dominating the izakaya scene for so many years, I finally gave Kintaro a try. I'm glad I did. Definitely more of a yakitori bar as its name suggests. Incredibly tasty. Try the beef ribs.
Gabriel S. • January 1, 2023The signature stir fried pork slices were pretty spicy & had a good wok flavour. The dish had quite a lot of meat. Braised beef brisket noodles were decent. The dish was a bit spicy.
Ami H. • January 27Garlicy 매콤 달콤 순살 치킨 KFC in Sweet & Spicy Sauce and the cheesy umami 로제 떡볶이 Spicy Rose Creamy Tteok-bokki were solidly tasty late night nosh. Best paired with a dry beer rather than sweet Pocha
