Ben C. • September 26, 2014Really fast. Fairly authentic tacos. "Order at the counter" kind of a place.
Mike W. • July 21, 2017Authentic Eastern European comfort food is a bit of rarity in SF, but this place knocks it out of the park. Everything tastes homemade and the prices are extremely reasonable. WinstonWanders.com
Diana C. • July 7, 2011Instant time travel--this place is authentic and letter perfect. Have the "house cappuccino" (no coffe in it) and bring quarters for the jukebox (Sinatra, Callas, Patsy Cline). Best date place in SF.
Fernando T. • February 27, 2013This place is a great interpretation of mexican food. They don't try to seem authentic and fail, they take the best of street mexican food and mix it with an american twist. Recommended.
Mike W. • June 5, 2014For incredibly authentic & spicy Thai food, this is the place. Don't miss the Som Tom Poo, Thai Herb Sausage, Pad Kra Prow Moo Krob, or Kai Pad Prik King & read all about it on WinstonWanders below!!
Daria B. • March 16, 2017The cult place with the best Irish coffee in San-Francisco and fresh crabs 🦀! Nice and authentic

Sherwin J. • April 23, 2015This place is not authentic. They specialize in over salted dishes. Use the same sauce for everything
Best of • August 26, 2014If you love authentic Italian food, 54 Mint is as authentic as it gets. The place is owned by Italians and offers great classics from Gnocchi to Alfresco. Be sure to try their Tiramisu for dessert.
Комманданте Ч. • May 31, 2015Still one of the best and most authentic places to have breakfast:) go with the daily toast:)
Aidan O. • June 7, 2015This place is very overrated. It's expensive, not authentic, and the dishes are bland.
Peter G. • September 8, 2016Great place to try authentic chinese cuisine in the heart of SF Chinatown
Annie 🌺 J. • March 5, 2017Love the dosas and bhatura! This place is a little cheaper and tastes a little more authentic than the restaurant Dosa nearby. Most of the menu is vegetarian, by the way!
Robin P. • June 28, 2018Not authentic, not cozy, not pleasant. There are better places around. And it's cash only.
Juan S. • July 18, 2015Best pizza in San Francisco. Very authentic place. Try clam and garlic pizza!
David M. • November 19, 2011This place used to be good, now it's terrible! Food does not taste authentic anymore.
Pranay S. • April 13, 2014Indian home food is actually very simple and Kasa is one of the few places that gets it right. Authentic chutneys, great chai. Dont miss the fennel and sugar mouth freshener.
Luke B. • February 1, 2014If you're looking for an authentic acai bowl (like you get in Hawaii), this is not the place for you. If you want a smoothie in a bowl with granola on it, this is the place for you.
Andrew L. • November 7, 2010Place too clean, service too nice, prices too high, clientele too fancy to be called "authentic" but it is so good. Xiao long bao (Shanghai dumplings) = heaven. Better make a res on weekends...
Lears F. • July 20, 2015One of the few SF places with authentic Chicken Lollipops. And they are deliciously tangy.
