Mick M. • January 5, 2013If you don't feel like going to the amazing beach, golf, tennis, or dining, try some paddling in the lagoon by kayak or canoe!
Joe T. • June 24, 2016Awesome Beach . Has a water fountain for the kids to run through at the entrance ,Hanging Bench Swings on both sides of the pathway
FRITZ f. • June 13, 2015Just lay there. Relax. Get some rays. Decompress. Get away from all the people. Look out in the distance. Smell the ocean air. Here the waves. Marvel at the surf. Close your eyes. Do all of this.
Chris S. • March 5, 2012Walk left right up to horseshoe crab point! Amazing bird, houses and shells!
K • January 26, 2016Beautiful & normally calm, since it's mostly only those from HH Resort. And then grab a drink at Coco's!
Sean C. • July 8, 2014Awesome beach w four tides each day. Two high & two low. But if you're going to stay for all four, apply sunscreen
E B. • July 22, 2013Relaxing and quiet. As noted, Dolphin Head park is a nice place to walk the dogs, walk on the beach or fish with the kids. I don't recommend you swim there.
Todd H. • June 18, 2015Booked a five hour family adventure with Outside Hilton Head and it was great. We saw Dolphins, went kayaking, SUP, and tubing. Would highly recommend them.

Tammy S. • January 19, 2019Alcohol prohibited on HHI PUBLIC beaches. Plenty of paid parking here. Tons of beach walkers. Good place to play with obedient dogs. Abide by leash laws/hours. Great beach!
Karen H. • October 12, 2021Dolphin Head Beach and Pine Island walk a fun and enjoyable experience. Hilton Head Plantation such a wonderful area.
Keith S. • August 14, 2013The Surfman's Station is ice cold air conditioned with plenty of tables, seats, and a TV. Great place for sleeping or tired children.
Amy Y. • March 29, 2013Take your time, hike the coast line. Hunt for fiddler crabs, shells, and beach critters. Quiet, kid and dog friendly. No commercialization, just a single hotel.
Brett P. • August 20, 2020Far enough away from coligny beach and the massive crowds. Some have said SFB is the chillest spot on the island
Denise G. • March 10, 2021Needs to be cleaned more regularly, but we have never gone in and not had 🧻 or access to 🧼. Happy they have 🚿 and rinse off/changing areas.
