Matt F. • August 27, 2011Super hotel, the best of several really really good hotels in Charleston. Club floor has a great breakfast in the morning and happy hours in the evenings.
Jenn • November 16, 2011An outstanding experience . Spacious rooms and amazing staff, very courteous! It's a small luxury boutique hotel, and mid week prices can be steep. Ask for the AAA discount. Great breakfast!!
Patrick T. • March 18, 2013Nice historic hotel in a perfect location. Their wifi isn't worth the trouble though.
Joe G. • May 21, 2012Birthplace of Charleston delicacy, She-Crab Soup. Beautiful house In a wonderful town. Friendly, helpful staff.
Uter A. • December 1, 2013Best hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are amazing. The bed and pillows are heavenly. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Wendy S. • May 17, 2010The Mills House Hotel is a beautiful hotel with old-world charm and pure southern hospitality. Would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists and business travelers alike.
Michelle • July 30, 2012Gorgeous hotel close to all the major charleston attractions. The rooms are also very spacious. Don't hesitate to ask the concierge for restaurant and sight seeing advice, they're very knowledgable!
Nicole F. • January 18, 2018Gorgeous hotel, beautiful rooms, awesome lobby bar and great service. Central location and easy to walk or bike.
Jessica M. • January 16, 2017Perfect hotel experience. Don't miss the butler's reception from 4-5 pm every day at the hotel bar.
Kathryn S. • August 12, 2013Best hotel stay I have ever had. The staff, food, and service were impeccable. Our stay here made our trip to Charleston, and we will be back to further enjoy the town and the hotel.
Denise G. • June 18, 2020Our new favorite hotel in Charleston! Fitness center was well-equipped. Room was clean and well-our together. Two bathrooms!!
Melissa D. • January 4, 2011Great hotel. Lots of character. Location is awesome. Right in the heart of things. Can see the Trade Market from the hotel.
Travel + Leisure • October 7, 2014With its sprawling verandas and manicured pocket gardens, this hotel pays homage to the city’s history, but interiors are refreshingly modern. A highlight: breakfast in the 1804 carriage house.
Melissa M. • September 11, 2013Great hotel! I have always stayed in the historic part of town. This was a great, different view of Charleston. A short ride to all the sights!!
Nancy T. • December 1, 2016Location, location, location!!! Close to historical sites, interesting places to eat, places to walk, and shopping!!
Pet S. • June 11, 2012I can't work out if this is a hipster hotel or if all the fur cushions and dog paintings are accidentally ironic... But I love it! Huge rooms too.
Amy A. • April 21, 2019Valet parking for 32 a night! It’s pretty expensive but in a good spot. You can walk everywhere. The suites have a kitchen and small living room area. Great water pressure. Terrible WiFi
Terry E. • July 7, 2011Do NOT stay in room 309!! Big spotlight outside of window. Otherwise fab hotel with excellent service and very helpful
Yasmin T. • November 29, 2012Fantastic hotel! Great location, great room, great staff. Wine & cheese at 5, milk & cookies at 9!
Danton J. A. C. • August 23, 2018Sublime service and nice touches such as breakfast and wine and snacks at the 5'o'clock hour.
Gustavo R. • August 22, 2016Good: nice hotel. Bad: check in at 4 pm and they annoys you at 9 am if they can do your room... Seriously?
John B. • March 11, 2019This hotel is one of the best we've stayed at in the country. The service is amazing, you get treats brought to your room each day, and they have a breakfast buffet and coffee on every floor!
Adriano • September 1, 2013Great hotel, besides some of the Renaissance hotels I would say that these guys have one of the best Marriott staff! Great view from the balcony of the fourth floor rooms, shuttle service to downtown!
