sarahhass • November 28, 2009Best movie theater ever! Make sure you become a member, it's free and there are some pretty nice rewards that make up for the ticket prices.
FRANKIE • March 1, 2016My favorite movie theater. Reminds me of Grand Lake back in Oakland. So vintage looking and they only play one movie at a time so it feels really intimate.
Marine S. • November 21, 2015Super awesome movie theater, 35mm, popcorn with butter and cheddar, hot dog = paradise
Whitney M. • October 13, 2014The service is very nice in the movie theater, but service at the bar needs improvement.
David A. • August 25, 2013Assigned seating and almost never sold-out screenings make this theater a secret gem compared to the rest of the movie theaters across LA.
Lori H. • April 7, 2013Outstanding movie theater in Marina Del Rey! Great reclining seats, great dining service 21+ only. What's not to like.
Ricky S. • December 21, 2015Nice seats that can be reserved add walking distance from my apt makes this place hard to beat.

Paul C. • May 26, 2010World class state of the art theater, Samuel Goldwyn Theater, highly recommending seeing a film there.
Michael R. • July 12, 2022Comfortable reclining leather seats with excellent dine-in food and lots of special event screenings. Special events usually have their own special menu too. Definitely one of the best theaters in LA.
osbornation • April 15, 2016Great getaway from the standard cineplex, made for film lovers and lovers of quality experiences in general. You pay a bit more but you get it back in dignity.
Chris M. • August 10, 2014A very nice movie theater. It has a bar, food court, coffee shop and gift store. Tickets are pricy but it's a really nice place to take a date. Dolby Atmos was an intense listening experience.
Chris C. • October 13, 2016A wonderful little indie theater with one huge screening room. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for free screenings and events. Fairly easy to attend pre-screenings due to size and location.
Tara C. • June 3, 2013great indie theater and snacks are on point. coolhaus, popcorn, & mexican cokes. yes, please! and theatre was a lot larger than i had expected.
Buford B. • July 12, 2012Buy tickets online and see a movie or get a tour of the most famous movie theater in the world. Or, go the cheap route and just admire the building and footprints out front.
Carla J. • October 30, 2011The BEST Movie Theater EVER!!
Kristina H. • November 30, 2013Great underground parking. Bring tissue! If it's Christmastime take your photo with the tree. It's glorious!
Alexis • December 11, 2012Amazing theater with a great sound system. The movies they play are fantastic! I watched Hubble 3D and it was awesome!
Dawn G. • August 15, 2014Favorite theater! Clean, comfy, cheaper than the rest and supporting Independant films.
Katherine M. • October 8, 2014A lavishly designed movie theater from the more glamorous days of Hollywood; motifs inspired by ancient Egypt. Fell into disrepair and recently restored, but still elaborate inside and out.
Rkqp • December 15, 2012It's a central location with a beautiful view on clear day and lots of lights around the holidays! A great place for a date -- dinner, movie and a nice walk afterwards. Cant go wrong.
Jeff S. • July 16, 2013One of the greatest landmark theaters in Los Angeles. The screen is massive and the sound system is amazing. Try to arrive early to get seats in the middle. There is a balcony too, but sit floor.
