Clara A. • November 7, 2014Best art museum experience I've ever had. Even if art isn't your thing, it's still worth paying the entrance to walk through the space and take in the beautiful architecture designed by Peter Zumthor.
Carla O. • March 6, 2016700 years of paintings from middle age to XXI century in the perfect size museum to still enjoy the pieces without getting tired. Nice view of the cathedral from the 3rd floor too!
Jana A. Kri • February 26, 2023This museum (or 2 museums merged in one) is a must see! Incredible venue and neat curatorship. You come here for some deep history experience, and even their temporary exhibitions are outstanding.
Chris R. • April 6, 2015Really cool museum, current system design exhibition is great and the permanent collection spans the boring classic stuff to the awesome 20th Century collection of design.

J • August 5, 2014The prison is very interesting to visit, lots of information and quite moving. Unfortunately this is the only part of the museum where the text is also in English, the remaining 75% is German only.
Eva B. • October 28, 2013Compared to the rauthenstrauch-joest museum it's not that spectacular and smaller, too, though it's the same price.
