Jim N. • March 18, 2017Kyle the salesman was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They have a sufficient variety of pool tables, card tables, ping pong etc.
NYC Parks • July 19, 2012The area that is now Highbridge Pool was once a reservoir supplying water to the entire city. Today, you can see the water tower that remains as you swim in the enormous Olympic-sized pool.
Houlihan Lawrence • June 7, 2012Open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to dusk, year-round. Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed and are not permitted in the picnic area. Great for a daytrip!

Fodor's Travel • August 21, 2015Stop by Queens for a lazy summer day at the city’s largest and oldest pool (dating back to 1936). Once you’re done swimming, you can stroll around Astoria Park along the East River.
Quintein • December 17, 2018I highly recommend visiting when there isn't a crowd (late night to 8am) to fully reflect. There is lots of security present and the area is under CCTV via the light posts
Brian K. • February 15, 2010Great rink, much less crowded (and less expensive) than Wollman Rink, Rockefeller center, or Bryant park.
qwertney • June 19, 2012Amazingly huge outdoor deck and seating, with a bar and a taco truck. Inside, there's a photobooth and usually a dance party.
LifeguardHub • August 9, 2011Not that much traffic goes to this pool - which is a good thing! Totally agree with E R.
Daniel v. • July 15, 2013Don't take yourself too seriously and you might just enjoy yourself. The waitstaff are courteous, kind and respectful. The ginger slush is perfect in the heat.
