Ryan • June 26, 2015Paitan ramen, takoyaki *just* like in Japan, karaage chicken, honjuku eggs and totally delicious bamboo shoot tsukemono (pickles) in the broth. Just wonderful.
Maia F. • August 20, 2016The tonkotsu ramen is my favorite. The best part about the ramen is the 12 hour cooked broth that's just alive with flavor in your mouth. Wonderful place to eat.
Chasity S. • March 13, 2017Amazing Ramen and the atmosphere at the bar was great. Very attentive bartender and quick to get in at the bar.
Marco G. • April 5, 2015Great staff and amazing ramen! Menu is limited but you can't go wrong. If you're new, start off with the Furious Ramen with a side of the pickled veggies then proceed to enjoy! Itadakimasu!
Chase T. • February 16, 2017The best ramen I've had in Chicago. Go solo to avoid the wait. Half spice is great, if you're sensitive to spice get no spice and ask for the spice on the side.
Lanny F. • March 8, 2019Tried a number of ramen here and was so happy with all. Not so much with the appetizers. Fun simple place if you like loud hip hop.
ISC C. • May 5, 2019Spicy Miso Ramen (pork & chicken & miso broth, egg noodle, marinated boiled egg, pork belly, seasoned bamboo shoots, corn, mayu, shichimi togarashi seaweed, fungus, scallion fresh ginger, spicy paste)
Allison K. • December 6, 2018Amazing ramen. Get level 2 on the Spicy ramen and add the pork belly. It’s also BYOB 👌🏽
John S. • March 17, 2018This authentic ramen shop’s signature miso broth, which is available in fruity and natural or full bodied flavors, will help fend off the forthcoming autumn chill.
Serious Eats • May 13, 2013The mushroom tofu ramen is so good, it comes in at number four on our list of top ramen in Chicago.
Paul T. • July 21, 2015Lots of cafe options, passable ramen for $8, good beer selection at the bar, and cold-pressed juices make this a pretty good food destination near the loop.
Rachel S. • October 30, 2017Mushroom Ramen (Shiitake Shoyu)has many nice ingredients but is missing that special something their other dishes have. I could have made this at home (minus the presentation) for less money.
Nikita P. • February 22, 2020Spicy ramen is delicious, but doesn’t taste traditionally Japanese. Garlic tonkatsu ramen is on par with other decent ramen. Very soft boiled egg. Bowls are smaller but still satisfying.
