Garrett M. • June 9, 2018Very beautiful scenic hiking trails, I prefer this place over garden of the gods. Dog friendly, with gated off leash trails.
Betty C. • August 5, 2016The new extreme bike trail is a great urban hike also. Winds around back of Marriott and dumps out on Rusina.
Maggie M. • August 31, 2014Beautiful park with awesome trails. Dog friendly as long as your pup is leashed.
Brendan P. • March 28, 2012Barr Camp is a great place to take a break or even spend the night. They have great facilities there, so our weight can be reduced.
Devan B. • May 18, 2013I love the templeton trail, it takes me about 2 hours with my dogs to do the whole loop. The trail can get hard but the views are worth it.
Ellie • January 3, 2017A twisty canyon road up to a beautiful waterfall and some hiking trails. Stairs are involved to get closer to the falls, both from above or below. Also? It's free!
Sean Alden F. • June 18, 2016This is one of my all-time faves. Mt. Cutler Trail is a must-hike!!
John C. • December 9, 2012Be prepared for sudden weather changes. It was warm and sunny when we got there but turned fast to windy and cold by the end of the trail.
askmehfirst • September 17, 2011Near the Summit you can a great view of Seven Falls looking down on it from above. Worth the hike.
Garrett M. • April 19, 2021A fun scramble. There’s a bunch of little trails to explore, and rocks to scramble around and over. It does get steep on some trails, and grippy shoes help a lot...
Steve E. • February 7, 2015A challenging hike. Lots of scree and we had to deal with a lot of ice in the shady areas. Trail could be marked better.
R. A. B. • August 15, 2010Use Chamberlin Trail to climb to just below Gold Camp Road, then descend on The Chutes.
David L. • September 2, 2011Great hiking trail around the park and up the back hill. Nice views of the city.
Elizabeth • August 30, 2014Amazing running trails that connect to the Santa Fe Trail. Great playground. Just be warry of running through the disc golf course
Taa D. • December 17, 2011Wear sunscreen - lots of sunshine on this trail
William H. • May 30, 2016Place is clean, nice place to walk the dogs or exercise on the trail around the whole lake. Great fishing spot as well.
Judy I. • November 26, 2015First place I came too when first visiting Co. Spgs. In 1973. Love the water fountain and I see the city has fixed the bandstand for concerts now. A great place to visit, make sure too atop there.
Brian F. • April 26, 2013Rampart Park has a great baseball field and BMX area, as well as a large grassy area regularly used for soccer and football practices and a great walking trail. Parking can be rough at times.
Kristy B. • June 21, 2016Even though the Templeton Trail often overlooks the Austin Bluffs Parkway, you can still feel like you're in the middle of nowhere at times. It's also quite technical and offers breathtaking views.
Matt K. • February 17, 2013Great trail for walking, running or cycling. The trail varies from paved to dirt and gravel. A hidden gem of nature in the city.
