Giant, delicious, gut bomb sandwiches. Open until 5am on Friday and Saturday nights, so definitely remember to swing by after your U St. bar crawl.

Great food. Dirty tables & floors (including restrooms) Which gives reason to doubt how true the former statement is . . . ijs # yuck FYI: I begged for a towel, cleaned wiped off my own table

Try the sweet potato fries. Don't hesitate. They're delicious, esp if you get them to go and like me, you have Chipotle Mayo in your fridge. Crispy, slightly sweet and relatively wholesome. Om nom nom

Skip the burger and get the Chivito. Or the Cuban. Or the fish sandwich. Or chili dogs. Massive portions and cheap. Pretty much the whole menu is awesome. If they served beer, we'd never leave. Read more

Not only is the food amazing and original, they have the cleanest, nicest, most fancy gas station bathroom of all times. You'll feel like you're in a bathroom at a club in Vegas.

WRT the Greek Salad-- get it. It usually comes with dolmades, an enormous amount of feta and a beautifully balanced mix of peppers, onions, olives, mixed greens et al. It may seem $$ but it's massive.

Chivito sandwich with eggplant fries. So, so good! I have to stop by every time I'm in town.

This is now my fave falafel in town. Uniquely spiced (cumin?) and utterly delicious. Their chocolate ganache cake shames "fine dining" desserts. My bf loved the meatball sub. This place is legit!

Ask for fried egg instead of the hard boiled. Cubano rocks and the portobello mushroom is a great option for the vegetarians out there!

Cubano, steak and cheese, beer battered eggplant, and plantains. Amazing. Couldn't take a picture because we didn't want to wait to eat it.

Everyone rightfully loves the chivito but the Argentina favorite, the milanesa, is also a win.

Seems like a hidden GEM at a gas station but locals fill the place up! They have legit Latin American food! Tasty and not pricey.

Get the eggplant fries and the sandwiches are awesome. It's open late and it's the best place in a gas station you can find.

Seriously Austin 'esq feel. A food placc attached to a gas station. Cuban with a flair. Very cool vibe and good food. Holy cow good!

Amazing gem, with well designed interior hidden behind the facade of an ugly gas station. Definitely get the Cuban. It never disappoints.

Chivito and Cubano is good. Service is fast if you don't come at 2-3am with the rest of the U street mob.

Didn't eat my Greek Salad last night and felt bad about tossing it, so I took it to work, since dressing was on the side. Was a bit wilted, but wow. Who else can make a salad that's good the next day?

They should drop the word "Fast" from the title. Nothing fast about the service the night I went. Once I got my food, the mushroom panini was decent but the fries needed salt. Read more
