There's a food market in here, there's lots of things to try and taste! Besides, clothes here are not bad! Take MRT (red line) and get down at Jian Tan station, from there just follow the signs :D
Comercial street with lots of nice stores, plenty of night life and activities. Take MRT (blue line) to Xi Men station or take MRT (Red/Green line) to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial and then transfer
Big temple, really nice to visit. Take MRT (blue line) to Longshan Temple and then follow signs. It's more of a touristy place than a comercial zone.

Awesome scenery, best if sunny, but it's a tad far away from city. No MRT station there, so you'd have to take a bus or cab
Electronics department store. Really cheap and has almost everything electronic related. Take MRT (blue/red line) to Taipei Main Station and look for exit M6 (I think)

SKY LANTERNS! Nice countryside scenery, to get a break from the city. Heads up, it's not inside Taipei city. Take bus or train, although I'd recommend bus (around 40 min)

In Xindian, nice for a quiet stroll around the riverside or a hiking trip up the mountain. ALSO HAS PADDLE BOATS! Take MRT (red/green line) to Xindian station
