I went on a holiday Friday...huge mistake! Extremely crowded and felt like walking through a mall full of carts with junk for sale. Go in, get ice cream, and leave!

Good market & oysters for $2 each served on a plastic plate like oysters are not a big deal, right? 👍👍👍

Among the best gourmet offerings? Divine chocolate sablées at Miette Patisserie, fresh-baked sourdough levain from Acme Bread, and Mt. Tam triple-cream cheese at Cowgirl Creamery.

The Ferry Building is a shrine to all things food. Unbelievable seafood? Check. Delectable organic cuisine? Naturally. Best coffee beans known to man? Of course. Just three words: explore, buy, enjoy.

If visiting SF you should take in the old and historic ferry building! While at it take an evening bay dinner cruise on a nice night in summer!

Not the cheapest place to shop, but you're going to find amazing products at every turn... most of them local. Grab some food, wander around, and inevitably run into someone you know.

The new seating inside the ferry building is really nice, but extremely chemically covered and strongly off-gassing. Very offensive to the nostrils.
