- Melissa ThamesOctober 20, 2015Security can be lengthy. Plan ahead. Plenty of good eats if you have to wait
- trippNfallNSeptember 1, 2011Decadence kickoff was fabulous! Don't leave your phone unattended, some hoodlum will take it and police reports are antagonising. Have fun Queens!! Happy Decadence ;)
- Tons of power outlets and free wifi in Concourse D! MSY, you've impressed me!
- Thank you, PreCheck! Fastest time ever going through security. Wish IAD was so fast.
- If you are traveling Southwest and not checking bags - go to the right towards security and there are 4 self checkins - usually no lines!
- Starbucks....finally...right across from gate c7....yippy.
- AuraJanuary 4, 2013Bring a muffuletta with you to the airport. Dining options are limited once you get here.
- Food is garbage. Parking is full half of the time. Definitely one of my least@favorite airports.
- It's pretty chill and easy to deal with. Security lines are never long
- Calvin Ray MusselmanNovember 8, 2010Don't get all the negative tips. Check and security was fast even for an early flight. Airport is old, and a little rough but not bad. Smoothie King right across from D4. Passion fruit was good.
- App based ride area behind the Transportation Center. Coordinate through your app first!
- Shelby GriffinNovember 17, 2011Very clean bathrooms on the delta side... At least the ladies are nice an clean I know for sure!!
- Michael SheehanJune 29, 2022If you haven’t been to the new airport, get prepared to be blown away. Haven’t been to MSY since 2014 and this new experience is incredible. Well done 👍🏻
- CamiJune 27, 2012Not the most impressive airport, but all of their signs are in four languages- one of them being Japanese! And if you check in you get a free baggage tag. :P
- Mimi UkwuaniMay 27, 2014Went to the French Qtr this wkend, and a cab for 1 or 2 is $33, 3 or more $14 each. Just a heads up.
- get a picture of that liver transplant banner so all of your lame friends will think you are clever
- Venkatesh HodavdekarApril 23, 2015Good food is hard to find here. A place like New Orleans should do better.
- Brett T.January 22, 2011I do seriously heart the red beans and rice (avec sausage) at the joint across from B-4. Great deal at $11.
- First time home since 2022 and the first time at the new airport.
- Watch out for Avis/Budget fuel prices!!! The others are around $5.25 a gallon. Avis/Budget is $9.29! Highway robbery.
- FoodimentaryDecember 4, 2011No matter what time of day you arrive. Try a fully loaded Lucky Dog. It ain't New Orleans without at least one.
- Emily KDecember 17, 2012There's no directional signs for the ticketing/check in booths if you come from Parking. Ask for directions
- Chelsea RuthDecember 2, 2011Seamless...busy but ran very well. No issues with flights, food, TSA, baggage or staff!
- Rahim The DreamJuly 20, 2013That pizza by b12 is primitive but if you're intoxicated it does the trick!
- Jane RatliffFebruary 5, 2011Great beans, rice and sausage at only food station on concourse d. Really delicious and filling.
- Be patient with TSA here... it’s bad. Slow as Christmas and they do not care. Eat before. Food options are quite poor. Parking sucks. The good: on time, and a lot of direct flights. Should be Btr soon
- Republican National ConventionJuly 20, 2012Vice President George H. W. Bush was nominated for president at the 34th Republican National Convention at the Louisiana Superdome, currently know as the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, August 15–18, 1988.

- Riley ShryockFebruary 21, 2015Efficient. NOLA style friendly. I wish I could fly in AND out of here!
- Patricia NguyenJune 2, 2013There an entertainment schedule on the airport website if you are stuck. Catch some jazz while you wait!
- For bottled bevs, the vending machines are a better deal than the concession stands #needmyfrappuccino
- Get to the southwest terminal early or u may miss your flight
- Kye MillerDecember 18, 2012Remember: the TSA doesn't consider tablets to be computers yet, so stick your iPad with your laptop in the bin and expect hell from the agents.
- Vegetarians: pack your lunch. Absolutely zero veggie options. Even all of the salads are pre made with meat.
- Natasha PratsOctober 3, 2014Recently renovated. Internet. Local food instead of just burger kings and such.
- Jennie CrichlowJune 24, 2015With few restaurants/bars, seating and charging stations, this might be the worst airport. The security gates directly leading to a single concourse make it even less fun and more like quarantine.
- Robin InlowOctober 24, 2012The people were great but the airport is under construction and so once you check in to your terminal you can't go to another. Don't expect to find the normal restaurants open inside the terminal.
- Bernadette NalepaFebruary 13, 2011Jester Bar & Grill by Continental is a nice place to eat and wait for departure. Good people. Good service as well.
- Char BeApril 29, 2012Take the airport shuttle round trip if staying downtown, it's half the price of a cab and very convenient.
