Good airport... Small, very few long lines (compared to the big hubs). Every flight I've flown coming back in arrives early. Almost no New Orleans delays here! :)
Concourse B has decent food. Lucky Dogs, Praline Express, and Live Oaks are some local options. The Magnificent Burger from Jester's was pretty good, and huge to boot.
A small airport with improvements on the way... but at the current time there are underwhelming eateries and shops, and the inside is pretty bland and borderline ugly. Needs modernization ASAP!!
If you haven’t been to the new airport, get prepared to be blown away. Haven’t been to MSY since 2014 and this new experience is incredible. Well done 👍🏻
The people were great but the airport is under construction and so once you check in to your terminal you can't go to another. Don't expect to find the normal restaurants open inside the terminal.
The code for this airport is MSY and now I know why. It’s definitely messy. Approx 1,000 people in line for taxis and Uber wasn’t allowed on to premises due to a storm.
PRO TIP: Eat BEFORE you go through security at ACME Oyster house. Delicious, but dont go there if you are short on time. Food options are BEFORE security.
I hate to say anything bad about a place with Louis Armstrong's name on it, but this is the lamest big cityairport I've ever been to. Just a whole lot of nothing once you go through security.
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is the gateway to one of the most exciting cities in the world – New Orleans, legendary for its history, food and good times.
