Allen Arcade: Sample by trying out their "power lunches". Large entrees with salad/soup and dessert for just a little more than you'd spend at Grand Lux just down the street. Avoid the salmon.
Allen Arcade: There is nothing finer than the bone-in rib eye swimming in butter, salt, and pepper with nothing else. Morton's has nothing on this version of the cut. (maybe better atmosphere in exchange?)

Allen Arcade: Fun to take out of towners to this place of excess. The variety of dishes makes the ordering process an experience all on it's own. Even something "ordinary" like a burger... Try the Max Burger :)

Allen Arcade: Try the fried calamari for twist on this appetizer staple. It's crafted like sweet and sour chicken. Don't let the exotic cars parked out front intimidate you, prices are reasonable (esp. Lunch).
Allen Arcade: The lunch menu is your best bet. Good individual orders as well as combination meals. Also surprisingly good are: curry udon, katsu don (pork & rice), and their hot lava noodle soup. Great prices.
