The spicy fried chicken sandwich with slaw lives up to the hype. Perfect starter to eat while waiting for a table a few doors down at Momofuku Noodle Bar.

One chicken sandwich is like 1.5 shake shack burgers. Make sure you ask for slaw (pickled white radishes). The fries are Cajun and just too few to share. Mix ssam sauce and ketchup and thank me later.

Tender, crispy, juicy and a little bit of a kick. Add $1 for the off the menu daikon slaw. The salad ain't bad either. Skip the fries. Worth the wait if the weather is not terrible. Line moves quick.

The sandwich itself is excellent, with plenty of deep-fried chicken spilling out of the soft potato roll bun. Lightly breaded and with fatty bits, the meat both juicy and crunchy. Read more

$15 dinner combo: chicken sandwich, wedge fries, and tecate. Piece of chicken is huge and very filling. Wedge fries are thick and so good dipped in ssam sauce. You will eat standing up. No bathroom.

Wow wow wow. Best chicken sandwich in town...and, yes, I've been to Chick-fil-A. Do yourself a favor and trust David Chang on this one. Ps: fries are worth the calories too.

Legit fried chicken sandwich with serious chicken thigh to bread roll ratio! Fries are well seasoned, tecate's are ice cold, and get involved with the unique Ssam sauce, trust me.

You’ve got the crispiness of the chicken, the soft doughiness of the bun and the crunchiness of the pickles. Is there a better sandwich on earth than the fried chicken sandwich? (The answer is no.) Read more

The spicy chicken sandwich is the best. It has a nice kick to it and is very flavorful and overall is just excellent. The Fuku Fingers are also delightful.

David Chang is a genius. Offering simple high quality food on the go like this is outstanding. Service was pro for a fast food setting and I loved the sandwich the fries and salad. Ssam sauce is 🔥🔥

david chang can do no wrong - chicken is a little spicy, but this is a great alternative to his other restaurants. order and eat at the counter. fries are tasty and the korean hot sauce is 👌🏻

Delicious and well priced. Let's hope the prices stick, the lines die down (least likely) and Chang finds some other sure fire hits for the menu

Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had - recipe by David Chang! Fries are super well seasoned. Put the Ssäm Korean chili sauce on everything!

Spicy fried chicken sandwiches are a superior simulacrum of Chick-Fil-A without the debatable moral code and open on Sundays. Ask for pickled daikon to make it a Koreano. Plus the Michelada is 💯

4 Friday nights in a row. What else can I say? It's that good. Best fried chicken in town. Up to Asian standard. Superb. I love David Chang!

Get the secret sandwich (the Koreano) which is the same spicy chicken sandwich with shaved daikon. Seriously puts a nice cool on that spicy chicken. The spice starts subtle and builds, so be warned!

The use of chicken thighs is the big win here. I could've used more heat in the crust, but it's still more than you'll get anywhere else. Enjoy it fresh at the counter with a michelada.

Spicy chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had, especially if you lather it with ssam sauce. Great filling portion for $8 - got two pieces of chicken in the sandwich too!

Spicy chicken sandwich, obv. No need to add condiments. Ssam sauce is mildly spicy Korean chile paste, vaguely ketchupy mashup. Pretty good. And I actually like the potato wedges.

Chicken sandwich is as good as it gets. Perfectly fried, piping hot, super juicy dark meat. The understated dry heat complements the taste, instead of overpowering it.

Chicken is fantastic—and huge! Tip: go with the daikon slaw and eat it there, if you take it to go it makes the bun wet.. Tip#2:don't forget the sauce

Pop in for some chicken strips and fries. The sandwich is alright (it is like an elevated chick-fil-a sandwich) but the chicken strips with the honey mustard is a total mouth explosion.

Well-seasoned and crispy fried chicken. Bun is unfortunately very sad. Fries (wedges) are okay, underseasoned. Try the off-menu "Koreano," their chicken sandwich with daikon radish slaw added.
