Really good roof top to come to and hang out with a small crew or an amazing date. Not too fancy or too romantic but the green space really brings this place to life not to mention the great drinks.
The outdoor bar boasts some gorgeous decor, with vintage traintracks and boxcars, lush greenery, live jazz and, like the sprawling Sleep No More set below, an ethereal, haunting old-world ambiance. Read more
Came here on a friday evening for my bday happy hour :) everyone in my group was blown away by the beautiful garden ambiance. Def recommended for a date or a low key celebration w/ friends.
Hands down the best brunch I've had in NYC. Live jazz, unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys, and food to die for. Make sure you get the bread pudding with the bourboncaramel sauce.
Gallow Green has got hip NYC rooftop style going on with lush greenery that give the place an airy feel. Get yourself a colorful cocktail and sip on it as you take in the beauty of the surrounding

August 12th: Relax on Gallow Green’s cozyporch swing and sip a Pimm’s Punch (Pimm’s No. 1 with crushed ginger, cucumber, mint and lime) in the charming rooftop garden. Read more
The punches add a further element of theatricality: poured into tureens tableside, some warm with Scotch, some indulgent with a whole bottle of Champagne—& some with jumping flames of absinthe alit.
Gorgeous interior and exterior space for drinks. Feels like a cozycabin during the winter time. Food and drinks are delicious, though pricey with a long wait. Come for the view and novelty.
Had an amazing time on a Saturday night. They had a live band (can't recall the name) which played a good mix of trippy + punk. The random animal statues all around only added to the unique experience
Lovely rooftop, really beautiful place, the view is great, the food is good, our waitress was super weird ! You should go to the No Sleep No more show after that !
One of the best rooftops in the city. Walking into an enchanted garden, with so much greenery everywhere. Communal tables are good for groups. Great cocktail selection. Pizza is quite tasty.
Charming roof-top gardenbar to have drinks and chat at sunset - though there's no clear vision of either the river or the sunset. The bar is free seating, but mind making reservations for dinner.
I've never seen a more beautiful rooftop bar in my life! It definitely feels like you are drinking right in the middle of a garden. Drinks are pricey but the scenery is worth it.
A trendyrooftop bar located at the top of the McKittrick Hotel. Enjoy a robust cocktail menu and be sure to check out the winter-themed cabin activated in the winter months.
You need a reservation mostly. Although the staff make exceptions if you or at least three of your friends are wearing a snuggie. So bring one for sure! Or wear one always.
Loved the frosè, cannot say I was that impressed with the food. Lovely rooftop but still I think a bit overrated, many more places in NY with a better view.
The prices aren't cheap but the ambiance is phenomenal and worth it (for at least one drink). If its warm out, order the popsicle punch. Its oh so good and the popsicle is house-made.
Atmosphere is worth the price. You smell the vegetation as you step off the elevator. Atmospheric attention to detail. Food is good enough. Service is acceptable. Period music sets tone. Sunset. A+
beautiful place to have some drinks in the summer or for a date night! the cocktails don't quite live up to the price ($17), but I guess you're paying for the view/beautiful surroundings!
If you make a reservation, you'll have no issues. Everyone was nice, we had the choice of a table or the bar where we were able to sit and eat. sunset was a perfect backdrop. Enjoy the mystery of it
A quaint little garden in the sky. This place is lovely with a romantic vintage flair. Cocktails are a little pricey but fantastic. As a southern gal, I like the juleps.
So you've made a reservation and you're here for brunch. Do NOT pass over the black pepperhoney that goes on the friends chicken. In fact, you should maybe put it on a biscuit too.

The rooftop at the McKittrick Hotel feels like a scene out of Alice in Wonderland or a setting fit for an English tea party. Order one of their delicious punches if you're with a large group.

An amazing place. Make reservations in advance so you can get a seat; otherwise, suffer the inevitable wrath of the doorman. http://www.uzonyc.com/?p=784
Fairy lights and tattered flags hang between verdant trellises. The best seats in the house are inside an artfully ruined antique railcar, whose empty windows are hung with destroyed lace curtains.

The integration with Sleep No More (actors roaming the bar in character) is pretty cool. Get the Port de Flip (sp?), it's chocolate+alcohol. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
