- Social News NetworkNovember 19, 2013Pleasure Pier is a great addition to the island. It can be kind of expensive though. After eating lunch, paying for rides and games and snacks and drinks throughout the day, I spend close to $100.
Jess WhelanSeptember 4, 2016Getting there an hour before sunset was the best idea. Not as hot & the lights are spectacular. Make sure to book your Bubba Gump reservation well in advance though. I spent all day there with my dad and 4-year-old sister and never ran out of things to do.
- The pier is an amusement park so you pay admission even if you don't ride just like other amusement parks. However they do offer a discounted price of $10 if you don't want to ride.
Janine VJune 24, 2012Come early to avoid the lines & heat. Free shuttle from San Luis Resort saves on parking fees for guests. Also ask hotel for VIP card to avoid line for tickets.
ESTHERMarch 21, 2016Super fun. Would come back when it wasn't Spring Break or a holiday. Big downfall is there isn't a lot of places to sit and rest or people watch.

Wendy ShullAugust 12, 2013Way overpriced. Go North to Austin and go to Six Flags instead. It's only $44.99 if you buy your tickets online and you get tons of rides and games. Not $26.99 for 10 rides and 5 games.- There are no shops or restaurants on the pier other than the gift shop and Bubba Gump. Admission isn't required to get to either.
