- Brad ProbstJuly 29, 2012The tour is well worth the $10 considering you get a pint glass and samples plus it's fun and you learn a bit. The beer is amazing. Food is great! Best quesadilla and onion rings I have ever had.
- Sara SteigerSeptember 14, 2013Must haves: sriracha wings, Matilda, Sofie, and any seasonal beer on draft!! Food, beer and service was amazing!! Ask for Lisa, she was great!! Cheers!
- Best brewpub in the city. Hands down. Best variety of beers and some you can't find or drink anywhere else. The food menu is excellent and offers great pairing options. Bring the whole family!
- ISC ChicagoMay 19, 20222021 BCS ORIGINAL (IMPERIAL STOUT AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS 14% - 14.4% ABV, FLAVORS OF CHOCOLATE. VANILLA. OAK. WHISKEY. MOLASSES. CARAMEL. BERRY FRUIT. ALMOND.)
- Jason FloodJuly 30, 2021The BBQ sandwich was really good. I don't drink so I'd just follow your previous drinks to decide what to try. The wife liked her citrus beer. Big, open spaces. Not super busy on a Thursday.
- Dana JensenNovember 27, 2014The waiter made some great recommendations, the wort bread was delicious, the beer was reasonably priced for Chicago, and the space was really nice. Not the most exciting menu, but some great choices.
- Chicago magazineApril 16, 2012Seriously good beer is the draw, and chitchat is easy in these casual digs. Create a four-beer flight ($8) from the 24 or so draft choices. Saturday and Sunday brewery tours. Read more
- Outstanding brewpub menu, fresh beer (brewed on-site), and it's big enough to comfortably accommodate any size & all types of crowds!
- Samir NaikFebruary 16, 2013Book tour early, grab a bite to eat or a brew. Food looked awesome. Brewery tour is 20 mins and tasting session is around 20 mins. Most brews sampled you can only find at the brewpub.
- Michael DorseySeptember 29, 2015Laid back atmosphere, great local brewery with several outstanding Brews. Food was excellent. Friendly and attentive staff. Get the grilled cheese with chips!
- Jerry JosephJune 9, 2018Request tastings of anything you want - they’re healthy pours by great bartenders with great service. Just remember to tip your bartender.
- MikeOctober 13, 2015Very unimpressed with the in-house brews here. Sure, Matilda and Sofie are top notch. But the rotating selection of other flavorless beers left a lot to be desired from a name as big as Goose Island.
- ISC ChicagoMay 19, 2022SMART FOAM (COLD BREW STOUT 5.4% ABV, GROUND COFFEE. HINTS OF COCOA. SLIGHTLY SWEET.)
- Michael GoroffJanuary 28, 2012The place that put Chicago on the craft brew map. Very good beer menu and the food is top notch. I recommend the Stilton burger, veggie chili, pretzels and mussels
- Ashley KasperDecember 28, 2014The tour was great! One of the two onsite Brewers educated us all about the beer making process.
- A PattonDecember 27, 2011All the Belgian style brews are awesome. ESP sofie and BB. Also a fan of rye-talian and sahti. They run out of popular flavors fast. You can order flights of 4 four oz pours for 8.
- L KAugust 9, 2014The mussels were great, as was the Wort Bread with bacon jam and honey butter. Always a fresh selection of unique beers.
- David CraigSeptember 27, 2014Brew tour taught little about brewing but the sampler was awesome. The pretzels were really yummy with a swiss cheese sauce.
- Todd WhiteNovember 3, 2014Amazing selection of their own beers. Some really amazing and different styles. Food also amazing at brewpub
- This is the original Goose Island Tap room. A must visit for crafty beer lovers.
- Hiedi EFebruary 24, 2016Definitely a great place to meet up with people. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and very good.
- Yeah it's owned by big beer but Jonathan is one hell of a brewer. Come drink his tasty brews.
- UntappdAugust 24, 2012Where it all started! Random fact: Goose Island is actually an Island in Chicago. Try some rare beers that you can't get anywhere else!
- Stellaa DuhartMarch 1, 2015Matilde and Sofie are my favourites, but since they can be found anywhere, I would pick something that they only have there.
- The FeastJune 9, 2011Goose Island has become a local craft brew hero, but Andrew Hroza's enhanced bar grub at the brewpub is a step above. Added bonus: constantly changing small batches from head brewer Jared Rouben.
- Brian GordonMarch 25, 2016So many good beers to try so little time. The hopscotch cask conditioned was excellent.
- Jimmy ZhuApril 6, 2013three tours on saturday, two on sunday; call a week in advance to reserve, $10:

- Charla BlanchardAugust 2, 2013Great wings, get the sirracha sauce. I don't drink beer, but that is the only alcohol you should order. The cocktails are not great.
- Beer flights are $10. Probably going to need 2 if you want to feel like you actually made a dent in the giant tap menu!

- Great Chicago brewery. If visiting in the next few months, I recommend a tall glass of the Mild Winter. The spicy pork sliders and sweet potato fries were also a hit. Read more
- Guest beers are great, Green Line Pale Ale is amazing, but the Wrigleyville spot has a way better atmosphere. Their growler price is a little expensive though.
- The Hair Thing of Tom’s RiverOctober 15, 2012Definitely more of a beer spot, but the food is decent too. "Caber Toss" quickly entered my top 2 in the scotch ales category.
- David RichmondFebruary 20, 2011Do the tour! Costs $7. You take the tour, you taste beer, you get a pint glass... What more could you need?
- Craig PhillipsAugust 7, 2014The tour is really nonexistent. Nice little tasting and pint glass at the end though.
