There are porta-johns all over the island, but use the bathrooms behind the water taxi beach. Those have real sinks with soap!

I expect more from our National Park Service. It's a shame that it's over-run by careless bicyclists. It appeared that all of the Hot Topics in America, dropped off their employees for a slouch fest.

Catch the first ferry out of Brooklyn at 11 am and try to leave on the 3 pm ferry back, otherwise the wait is long and the dock is chaos.

Avoid "NYC Ferry" ferries. They don't empower employees w/ important info like "buying a ticket doesn't mean you will get on the ferry time you are waiting in line for". Polite inquiry yielded 0.

If you go to Govs Island and wish to come back BK side, you have to leave around 6pm. Otherwise, you will be forced to go Manhattan bound! Eep!
