- Best mac-n-cheese I have ever had. It's the crushed Cheez-its that make it superb. My favorite place to grab a good meal & good beer. Great beer and food selections and a comfy, neighborhood vibe.

- Few people at the beer garden realize how close they are to some if the best pizza in NYC. When you get hungry, head a block down to 6th for good beer and great brick oven pizza at Toby's.

- Steve LeVineAugust 26, 2020Make sure they don’t overcharge you like adding on $2 for cheese that is supposed to be included. Also, keep an eye out for some nice size subway rats- they may even start chasing each other around.
- GothamistJune 6, 2012It's not open yet, but will be a game changer once it finally does. Plans for the 13,000-square-foot space include a giant beer garden, food and a music venue. Think Brooklyn Bowl in the South Slope.

- Premshree PillaiJune 28, 2013The vibe feels a little jersey shore-ish. If that's your jam, this is your beer garden. They may claim to have several beers on tap, but really they have only a handful (on many taps).
- I want to love this place more! The beers are so good and the food too. But it attracts kind of a loud/rough crowd of not so friendly folks.
- Try the Crabbie's Ginger Beer. Its alcoholic/Scottish & delish! Ask for a cup w/ice to pour it over for extra-chilled.

- New York local craft beers, good food too. Peekskill brewery is a fave. Also recommend the burger and the fries.
- Beautiful spot to hangout in the summer. A bit restrictive security. Plenty of local craft beer!

- Alan-Arthur AureliaFebruary 14, 2017Cool music. Kind of an awkward vibe from the staff. They act like a bustling Manhattan bar, but they arent. Better as a summer location when the outdoor area is open.
