- Mikael WagnerMay 29, 2014Once again this never lets me down. The cocktails are well made, yummy food and great portions too. Lots of fun great for /, 4 or more to have a forest time. Also great if u want to be alone.
- Happy hour prices have increased a bit compared to 2014: drinks for $5 and oysters for $1.25/each. Anyway, oysters are more than awesome, and Chesapeake are the best here!
- Simal SoydanJune 2, 2019Really nice bar with many adventurous cocktails. If you are looking forward to try some new tastes in your cocktail a great place to hit up! Fun place to hangout with friends.
- Don SullivanNovember 6, 2016Great atmosphere, staff very friendly make you feel that they really care. Food great. Parking a challenge. Expensive. Def will go again. Great 4 a night out with friends or your significant other.
- Mikael WagnerFebruary 12, 2014We ate like it was the last supper. Started with a dozen is oysters then ordered another half dozen and also the friend oysters plate - delicious. Delicious broccoli and pea pods came too. Get Nicole
- Vanessa GatlinFebruary 25, 2014"Hit up The Eddy Bar inside Hank’s Oyster Bar on the Hill, where a glass of crisp Soave ($5) pairs well with $1 oysters (Monday-Thursday, 5-7 p.m. and Friday, 3-7 p.m.)."-via Daily Candy
- Brian JengFebruary 15, 2015Daily changing menu a bit much to take in but great three course specials, especially for the value. Fresh oysters, barrel aged cocktails, and lobster deviled eggs definitely worth a try
- My favorites are the raw oysters from the west coast, the lobster roll with no unnecessary fillers, the decadent Mac & Cheesy, the perfectly cooked scallops and the amazingly friendly staff.
- Apps and small plates here are incredible. Try something unique like the Brussels Sprouts w/ Maple & Pecans!
- Happy hour from 5 to 7 pm and from 10 pm to midnight features great discounts for raw bar items (oysters, mussels, shrimps) and a selection of beer and wines.
- Jackie HonApril 27, 2016Their small seafood platter was perfect for two with two extra sides. If you like bivalves, get another half dozen, the platter only comes with two oysters
- Brant McQuittyMay 1, 2016Oysters and Sancerre are always a safe combo. And they start you with a bowl of goldfish crackers and end with a few chunks of dark chocolate!
- FiOS 50November 28, 2011Oysters should obviously be the first thing on your to-try list - especially chef Jamie Leeds own varietal of oyster, the Hayden's Reef. Try the lobster rolls, po' boys, and crab cakes too..
- Kaz K.February 17, 2016Happy hour until 7PM at the bar and lounge area: $5 wine and daily drink, selection of three $1.25 oysters.
- Mimi NguyenAugust 25, 2017One of my favorite happy hour places in DC. Good drink and food options on happy hour including local oysters!
- Sofia CaseNovember 18, 2018Wish I had come during oyster happy hour. Otherwise it’s $30 for a dozen.
- Antonio AndreozziJanuary 9, 2013I would strongly recommend The oysters from british Columbia and Virginia, in addition to the delicious small grilled octopus, fried oysters and the lobster roll!
- John (aka “PHATFoodFan”)August 21, 2012Have to try the fried oysters, even better than the best of New Orleans! Dribble some hot sauce and squeeze the lemon to top them off. They almost melt in your mouth with a kick!
- Arnaldo RodriguezSeptember 1, 2013Lobster Roll was plentiful and was filled with tons if meat! Oysters on the half-shell were delicious...definitely would recommend this place!
- Nicolas St-AmourOctober 30, 2014The crab cakes were good but really expensive. The Caesar salad had real dressing and the coleslaw was pretty great. For $29 plus tax, I'm not sure they were worth it.
- Tim FullertonMay 30, 2010Went last night. Oysters, fried clams abd the soft shell crabs. All were excellent. If you live in the area and haven't been, you are missing out.
- It’s an amazing seafood restaurant, but Don’t sleep on the burger.
- Well get the oysters of course…comes with a cute side of oyster crackers!
- Josephine LeeFebruary 19, 2014Super fun and clean place with cute decor and deliciously fresh oysters. Must go!
- Chefs FeedAugust 5, 2014Antonio Burrell, chef of Agua 301, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Hog Island barbecued oysters. Read more
- David WilderAugust 6, 2015They won't seat you till your party has arrived, which is dumb. So tell them you're alone but may have a few friends join you.
- Nicole BobikNovember 14, 2010Got raw and fried oysters, lobster roll, steamed mussels & mac and cheese. Everything was awesome, my boyfriend (an avid oyster hater) has officially changed his mind.
- Christine HaNovember 10, 2016Great seafood. Try to go for happy hour for oysters. Crowded & parking sucks. 🦀
- Men's Health MagNovember 8, 2011Order a plate of half shells from the blackboard. Then, have the bartender pull you anything from Allagash (a brewer in Maine). and suck those little guys down with some horseradish and Tabasco.
