Top three spots I rotate between in SoHo for an espresso. They open at 7:30a, which is earlier than my other favorite in the hood and, therefore, I come here for my first coffee of the day.

Small, unpretentious espresso bar with changing exhibition of local artists. Creative repurposed light hangs above with skylights. Get a latte to stay & you'll be rewarded with a tortoise shell spoon!

Opened by coffee lovers from New Zealand and situated a few steps from NYU’s Broome Street reshall, this shop sure knows how to make you fall in love with the décor as much as the espresso. Read more

My very favorite coffee shop in SoHo, awesome espresso every time, and the filter coffee is pretty good too. Much better than La Colombe, and comparable to Ground Support, Everyman, and Gimme Coffee!

My favorite coffee shop in NYC. Trendy, great service, relatively quiet and competitively priced. Get an iced latte with almond milk, it's the bomb!

Brewing counter culture coffee and bellocq teas - thankfully not just using la Colombe like seemingly everywhere else in soho. Enthusiastic and very competent barista.

Great to pop into for an espresso beverage. Limited seating so don't bring 10 people in with you. Coffee is delicious as is the Oat milk for non dairy folks. No toilet, pee somewhere else.
