Only in Las Vegas can you watch a 90 year old woman hooked up to an oxygen tank playing slots...while smoking a cigarette.
D gates security area has terrible reception - get your mobile boarding pass on your phone's screen before then.
Got here way too early and even the bar is closed. Luckily Duty Free shop is open, bummer u can't get ur purchases till u board!
Make sure you get your gifts *before* getting to the terminal. Very poor shopping.

Easily the most poorly organized and run security checkpoint in the US. Do NOT underestimate the time it takes to get through this.
Don't play the slots at the airport. Lowest payout in Vegas!

Never, never never never take the hotel shuttle. Huge waste of time. Waited 40 minutes and the shuttle is too small for all the people waiting. Ridiculous.

Richard DeanJanuary 9, 2011Driving to the airport? Figure out yr terminal # 1st -- there are NO signs on the street directing you (like every other airport in the country). Also get directions - worst street signs ever. Fail!
