Gas here is cheap, 10 cents cheaper than Leesburg, just 5 cents more expensive than Blacksburg. Good amenities. Definitely stop here for gas.
A good relaxing spot if you stay away from the geese. You should not miss it when it freezes over during cold winters!

Food was good(lentil soup, lesan asfour tagen, fatta, cream caramel). Service was slow. Great views by the nile and aswan temples. Nice atmosphere
The Lemon Grilled Shrimp Tacos was simply irresistible. Friendly staff, fast service, good parking even on a weekend.
The chicken shawerma is awesome. It tastes exactly like the ones I tried in Cairo abd Beirut. The thoumeya (garlic dip) that accompanies it is unimaginary. Also the fries have nice spices.
I stopped here on Sunday morning right after thanksgiving. One of the cleanest Rest stop toilets I have used.
An awesome place with a lot of activities and outdoor trips for hiking, kayaking, rock climbing. They have great and friendly staff.
